We could have had 3000 but Stoke refused the balance as they would have to pay for them if they didnt sell

I think there was an option of more but Stoke would have to buy any that weren't sold, and that might have been a fair few.

Why don't they update the website then, as i am sure there will be some Stokies goin down the ground tomorrow when they go on general sale and wasting there time. Come on Stoke get a grip and tell us the information through the website.

I'm not sure looking from yesterdays result. Chelsea top four side looking at top 2. Afer yesterdays performance i could see us looking positive and looking at a possible draw at chelsea Then theirs the fact of chelsea not having the best results at home recentley? I would of gone if more tickets available.

A-teen_six_T3 - i think you're wrong and that we would have after such an excellent result against Liverpool and the new signings. In any case it does not matter caus Stoke as always played safe, so much for Pulis saying on the radio to get as many Stoke fans at the Bridge .... wot a joke when we did not take the full 3k

For alls we know we might still be in negotiations for the etra 1,600. and thats why no anouncement as been made
What we wouldnt want is another 'blackburn' when we announced we had 7,000 when we only had 4,800 the other 2,200 were the second allocation.
Best bet would be 1,400 sell them and hope we get some more for the last week and general sale
If we said we had 3,000 and we didnt sign anyone and got dicked against Liverpool so we only decided have the original 1,400.The 100 or so extra Stokie or would want to go still would be saying "well you said we had 3,000...why all of a sudden have we only got 1400"

So if you go the ground tomorrow what will happen as according to unofficial people on here there are no tickets. If this is the case why hasn't the official website telling us this? Tony Pulis wanted a big following yet we have not taken the full allocation. I am sure we could sell 3k tickets. Come on Stoke sort it out so all the loyall supporters can see Stokes first away win of the season.

I think we would sell 3000 to be honest...would be great in taking 3000 to chelsea instead of 1400.

No one knows about the tickets or if we have sold our allocation cause the website is poor and still tells us they are available for general sale tomorrow. God help anyone that goes to the ground tomorrow to try and get a ticket if they are sold out.....i feel for them, especially if they do not have internet access. I would have thought that if they had sold them all they would ave advetised this on our new screen!

The programe also says nothing about them being sold out. I would be extremley annoyed if people went to the ground on general sale and they got tickets becasue they had sneekeley released the extra 1600.

Post by Winge on Jan 11, 2009 17:47:19 GMT
does this mean they are still available as i was goin to call the ticket office but then had a re-think as it costs a fortune when in the calling q. Roll on the day the club employee someone to keep the fans and website up to date + y can't we buy these online like home tickets?

|
Post by A-teen_six_T3 on Jan 11, 2009 17:50:16 GMT
why would you be annoyed, as far as you are concerned they are still on sale as there as been no OFFICIAL announcement so just assume that there ARE tickets left until announce OFFIALLY otherwise,

i suppose...i wish the club would come out to inform us.

Post by Winge on Jan 11, 2009 17:58:31 GMT
why would they ..... they only want our support for gods sake. Tony needs to sort this out with the club as he was the one mentioning it on radio Stoke last night that he wants as many Stoke fans behind them at Chelsea yet we don't know if we can get tickets or not!
