I have been known to criticize our own support, especially those on here who make it plain that they have no Time for Tony Pulis or anything he does nor, will they ever.
At the ground though, at the matches it is totally different.
Last night we came off the back of no wins for eight games, last four defeated - and HOW WE ROARED ! superb undying blind support throughout, marvelous to witness and surely again. a total shock to the opposing team and their supporters.
When you recall, just a fraction over 12 months ago our average was around 13,500 (i.e. up to Xmas 2007) and there was plenty of moaning going on INSIDE the ground as well as on here but,
In January 2008 (or around that time) I believe some kind of 'switch' was pulled in our heads, that all things were possible IF we got right behind them, it might even have been half time, two nil down at home against Southend. The team had been poor, expectations had been high and we were awful, BUT the team came out to an appreciative roar 'CMON - WE CAN DO THIS' - the rest is history
And our home support in the ground since then has ranged between pretty damn good to, fucking awesome from the back end of last season to almost the entirety of this season so far.
So a 'pat on the back to us all' who continue to believe - to continue get behind their team , even in adversity.
Lets hope it continues -who knows - some of those who have mysteriously disappeared off here who, used to whinge mostly and a few who still do - may start joining in, actually supporting their club properly also.
Well done you stokies who never seem to give up - home or away !

Yesterday was back how it is supposed to be. First two or three games this season were amazing but we went slightly off the boil after that up until now. Spine tingling stuff boys lets keep it up

Tony, what you fail to realise is that the most passionate vocal supporters home and away are often the most critical on here, when it is deserved.
I've had insomnia for the past 6 weeks coming to terms with my frustration and anger at the shortcomings of the manager in respect to selection and tactics.
I, also, come away from every game unable to speak for at least 24/48hrs 'cause I've sung/shouted myself hoarse for 90 minutes.
You make everything in your head so black and white and can't often see the truth because of it...

If Stoke got off their backsides and got more tickets for Chelsea then maybe we could all roar on our beloved team!! Only 1400 and we were offered 3000 pathetic Stoke

why didn't stoke take the full alocation surely we would have sold it all as we did for united but then again united doesn't cost as much for travel but still should be a good atmosphere there were only about 1500 of us up at newcastle but we were still loud, bring on chelsea gona be a good day out

I sit in block 24 and apart from the obvious pleasure of hearing the boothen end 'roar' its great to set the sedden stand full and making a massive noise-brilliant
