Other than the pocket of fans by the away end, does anybody in there sing ?
I have only been in there once this season ( v Derby ) on the upper tier and nobody was singing, hence I ask.

Did anyone sing at the derby game, it was extremely poor.

I've been in there a few times since we moved to the Brit and I used to do my SCWIM work in there as well, and I think it's eerily quiet, so I don't like it. I don't like the view from it either (if that makes sense, it's probably just cause I'm used to seeing the ground from the Boothen or the corner).

if the John Smith stand sang then it would be extremley loud. Even if the JSL sang with the rest of us, then it'd be eardrum-popping.

I sit in block 8 and have done since day one, were more connoisseurs of football rather than the rugged beer swilling, singing, working class types you get in the other Stands. Saying that though a round of vigorous applause greeted Mama's winner against Aston Villa

I usually sit in that little pocket by the away and to be fair we get a good little atmosphere going. Before this I used to sit in the JS upper and used to get told off if I dropped a pin.

Those around the dug outs make life extremely uncomfortable for opposition manager, coaches, substitutes etc.

I love sitting in block 17, great view & no sun in your face but yeah it could be a little louder. I also ticked the "I dont want to be on the telly" box when applying for me season ticket

My seasonticket is in the West Stand Upper and i sing, however there are different faces there everyweek and some dont evan support the home team, i have had a few fallouts with other supporters in our stands. When anyone does start singing the stewards have words too!!!!

only ever sat in the west upper once, me and my mate got told to sit down when we stood up and then told to quieten down when we tried singing as people wanted to talk about the weather. It wasn't really my cup of tea so I never bothered again
