Didn't show Gerrad's booking and couldn't watch it on Football First because minority channel Setanta wouldn't let them air it.
Maybe MotD2 will show it on '2 good 2 bad'.

100% agree. And all Shearer was banging on about was how poor Liverpool were and the mistakes they made. That`s the first time I`ve watched MOTD in weeks.I don`t know why I bothered.

Well who would have thought it???
Messrs Shearer & Jug Eared Twat Lineker state Liverpool played absolutley poorly today & that's why it was a draw.
Funny that because I thought you are only as good as the other team let you play.
MOTD Team you are that up yourself I'm suprised you don't meet yourselves coming back.
I'll just love it when we prove the Top 4 lovers all wrong in afew months time.

They showed Liverpool misplacing passes, but there were three Stoke players snapping at them taking the ball away.
The real story was Stoke's energy today for the entire game. Everything was chased down and Liverpool were as rattled as Arsenal. They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring.

Did we really think they would say anything else, when the top 4 play they can only see one team ans its will never be us, So I say sod em all lets just get on with it, then they can ignore us again next season. Co's we are staying up.

They ALWAYS favour the top 4, it will never be any different. It was a great game 10/10 for entertainment ! Maradonna would of been impressed by us.

Not seen motd. First 20 minutes was all Liverpool and thought we are in for a long game. Rest of the half Stoke had a super 20 min spell and should of been 1 up..... Second half was mainly all Liverpool with no end result up front and Stoke did well for a deserved point. Also I thought Liverpool's support was shite, complete shite. As much I agree with the fat spanish waiter, Man U will win the league. As for Stoke??? Its going be a exciting run in. Enjoyed the game though. Its better than the championship eh

sir, your match of the day coverage of the stoke v liverpool game was a disgrace in my opinion steven gerrard spent the whole game either falling over or moaning to the referree. this is my opinion and i dont expect you to show everything however steven gerrard purposely kicked the ball at the wall before the referee blew the whistle and got booked. it was a disgraceful act by an england international and should have been shown to the nation as a balance to the negative coverage stoke city get routinely from motd. an absolute disgrace

I think today will mark the end of Liverpool's challenge for the title and they will finish 3rd. The 4 points we have taken from them will be very costly at the end of the season.
I was amazed by the lack of support from their fans, home and away. To me they seem to be a club in decline. This is just a flukey season and I think there is really a top 2 with Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa trying to win the remaining Euro places. Next season Man City will push them further down the mini-league of big clubs.
Chelsea were way better at the Brit with ManU the next best side.

tbh motd has given us some good coverage when we have been good but either loads of negative coverage or little time when we have been poor and most of the time quite fair
today it was so biased and edited probably to look like what the written media make of us

We were practically edited out of the game FFS! We must have had at least 75% possession in the first half but you wouldn't have believed it from those "highlights".

Why didn't they show Kitson's header which nearly ended in the back of the net?

This is what I've just sent, and asked for a reply which I'll post in due course.
Sirs,
the coverage given to the "better teams" doesn't accurately reflect the games. Tonight's coverage in the Stoke City vs Liverpool game showed mostly only Liverpool's good play. Stoke City had at least as much good play and for most of the game Steven Gerrard was anonimous, yet all we saw of him were the two chances at the end of the game where he struck the woodwork. The Dave Kitson effort that almost went in wasn't even shown, yet MOTD is supposed to be a HIGHLIGHTS programme.
The rest of the country wasn't shown the absolute ARROGANCE of Gerrard's booking either, when he blatantly ignored the referee at a free kick.
Mascherano could quite easily have been sent off for two lunge tackles, neither of which were punished, but were worthy debating points, yet nothing was even hinted at.
Far from being a poor game, as the pundits said, it was engrossing with incidents all over the pitch. This is not an isolated occurence, it happens regularly, and I'm sure my team are not the only victims of such one-sided reporting.
The so-called "lesser" teams are all too often patronised by the panel and they should remember who's licence fees pay their wages!

Yes knowles I too noticed that they didn't show the Kitson header.
What annoys me about MOTD is the relatively short time allocated to the actual match highlights followed by interminable repeated showing of incidents and analysis. Why not cut a few seconds of that and then leave time to show the Kitson header and other edited out highlights? Are they contractually restricted to a certain amount of actual match footage?
Tho have to say that overall the MOTD coverage of Stoke this season has been acceptable, certainly much better than it would have been on ITV, and with NO ADVERTS.
