he was immense. He looked so up for it and liveley and ready to go. And it was nice to see a player trying to get past people down the wings. I'm sure he will be amazing in forthcoming games:D

I have said on several posts. he was awesome. I have never had anything on the back of my shirt but Sir Stan, but he was good today. Sir Stan would have loved it.

i was VERY impressed with him having gone nearly 2 months without a decent run out...there is definitely more to come from him! BTW Dave...it's a tenner for a name and number at the club shop...doesn't matter how many letters  (it's only £8 at JJB) |

Excellent first 30 minutes. Faded afterwards through a lack of fitness. TP said afterwards we need to get him up to full fitness quickly.
I think he is going to be a quality addition to our team.

Seems to have all the tools in the box
-Can beat a man on inside or outside
-Uses other team members-not selfish
-Crosses well varied his crosses
-Seem to remember he's got a decent shot on him

brilliant 1st game for him.
i just hope and pray he plays as well against the "lesser" sides.
i genuinely think he will. he seems to have a point to prove and god help opposing teams when he's fully up and running.

looked dangerous every time he picked up the ball not afraid to travel with it either, and this was against carragher god help us when hes fit and up against some one like mcshane.
great debut and looks promising.

As a bargain Matty could rank alongside Sorro and Abdy Faye. I liked him at West Ham and when hes fit he could be one hell of a player for us. Well done Pulis!!!

He looked great, i'm very positive about him, MOTM percentage was amazing on the screen - 70%.
I just REALLY hope he's not the kind of player who only has a good 1 in 3 or 4 matches like Soares
