Let's have a think about this. What would happen if 2,000 Stoke Fans turned up at an away game without an ID card? I am sure that the local Police would advise the club to let them in (better for them to be under supervision than be roaming the town!). Maybe we should use this to test out the validity of the scheme. Can I suggest the Forest Away game on the 10th. April as it the next Local game where we could do this and actually be able to get into the ground. God knows what would happen if we were to try it against Crwho? as they wouldn't able to get anyone in the ground. Is it worth sticking this in the Oatcake?

Personally I think that would be a very bad idea. Particularly if you "advertised" the fact as you suggested. I'm sure many would go and not wish to disrupt but it would be a very volatile situation and if there were to be trouble it would put us back 12 months IMHO. Asking for trouble IMHO

I reckon it's a good idea as long as if they turn people down that they keep quiet, cause no trouble and go in the home end.
And you can't purchase a ticket without an ID card and they won't be expecting for people to pay on gate so i don't think it would work
Though i think it's worth a try.
Often you can get in without your card as long as someone buying the ticket has one.
I walked past the dozy stewards at Wimbledon testing to see if i could get in and did, and i've done it at Burnley and Wigan aswell with no trouble.
Though i did at West Brom.

Simon Jordan (Palace Chairman) said exactly the same thing last season. If plently of non ID'ers turn up, not many cash strapped clubs are gonna want them turned away.
