Some say it was the Purple zig zags of 92/93, it was a great kit, but had a bad win ratio, with just one win in the whole season when it was worn (its final showing at Rotherham at easter)
However this seasons has only seen one win too, Against Cheltenham Town in the cup, also our ONLY away win, and that was with the blue shorts.
I say we should BURN the kit, everyone who owns one of these hideous articles should pile them up in the club car park, and we should burn the lot. (bring your own pollution masks)

I must admit. That kit is horredous. If the players dont feel good in their kit it will effect their play/ mind

I must admit. That kit is horredous. If the players dont feel good in their kit it will effect their play/ mind To be honest, they're professional footballers and if the colour of their kit is having an effect on their performance then it's about time that someone gave them a proper kick up the arse. It shouldn't matter if they play in pink leotards (well okay, that might be pushing it ) but for the amount of money they get each week, it shouldn't be an excuse tbh.

I agree, Dave. It is the most vile strip we've ever had. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we once have a similar away kit? Anyways, it reminds me of Arse and anything that reminds me of that club should be castigated. Burn the fucking thing and let's play in our proper colours whenever we can. We can always use training jackets when we clash. M.

Bloody-hell, we are blaming the colour of the kit for our losses now.
Whatever next??????
It's the players and the manager, nothing more, nothing less.

it's possible to take such things a bit seriously but it is truely w@nk - particularly with the red shorts. I think we not only look but play like watford every time the two colours meet.

When combined with the red shorts, the yellow shirt makes us look like Watford, says it all really! Against Newcastle, the red shorts look good with the red and white stripes and so was the result

Ok IF... I agree ..crap kit...but if we burn it What will the team wear ? Here's a novel idea, they wear the home kit, unless there is a clash, in which case they can wear the away kit but only with the Blue shorts , or maybe the 3rd kit , which is probably last seasons away kit

I remember the season after Blackburn won the league, they had a new away kit and the fans were convinced it was cursed/bad luck. So the club after not getting an away win before Christmas resorted back to the previous seasons away kit.

I dont think its that bad, but throw in the red shorts and socks with it or add the white socks like they did at Manure and it looks terrible.
I dont understand why they didnt do some yellow shorts and socks to go with it in the eventuality that the blue may clash sometimes, thats a serious lack of research on the part of LCS imo.

If we only wore it when we NEEDED to wear it, the blue shorts would never clash

Probably one of the most ridiculous posts ever. And Dave for your information, that Blue away top that needs surgically removing from your body is in my mind up there with one of the worst away tops of all time. The yellow one is class, just doesn't go with those wanky blue shorts. H
