We have two tough games coming up and probably expect no points, followed by games against Citeh and spurs where we need to be expecting 4 points min.
Personally after today, I am fully expecting a point next week. The players have been so poor a hefty kick up the arse should see them come out of the blocks faster than Usain Bolt.
By the end of January therefore we should still be in the thick of it.
We should also see some new faces to refresh the squad and give us renewed hope.
If neither of these things happen then we could be in the shit come February.

Liverpool (H) Chelsea (A) Spurs (A) Man C (H)
Hard to see more than maybe one valiantly-acquired point in that little lot, especially if Man City start spending like a Pulis in a centre-half shop.

To try and put a positive spin on it, we have picked up points against teams non of us thought we would prior to the season starting IE Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal, call me a crazy man, but I think we could get something out of the Liverpool game and City at home. The away games I've pretty much written off, Chelsea aren't as dominant at home as they have been in previous seasons, but I still expect us to go there and hand them the 3pts gift wrapped. p.s There's more than 1 pulis ?

Man City may spend big, but who says the 3 or 4 new players would have gelled together straight away? Perhaps the end of January is the best time to play them before the new signings have built up a good understanding with the squad
