he asembled a squad to get us in to the premiership and we have held our own this season, had a few bad results of late and all of a sudden every1 forgets what he has done .

Im inclined to agree but he does generate this contrversy through his own actions

He peaked with the promotion, the subsequent results once injuries and suspensions came into play show that he has no tactical nounce, no ability to spend money wisely (£20m and he stills screws up against a team 2 divisions below). One way of playing, no other options,, no ability to change games, belief in players who are plainly not worthy (Pericard, say no more!) etc, etc..
So what exactly was good about the past few games, and not just today?

yeah Tonys a great manager but i do think he continues to try and push square pegs through round holes. I was watching something on the goggle box about Arsenal a few years back and how Grahams defensive attidude got him results and it reminded me of Pulis. We need quality tho and the next month will show us how good Tony is. I feel like players like the ones he signed last ninute on transfer deadline day were stop gaps, we now need something better than good Championship players. We will always pick Fuller and who ever sits behind him wont be as good as Mama and no matter how many goals he normally scores by the time he's done his defensive jobs he's average 5 a season.

Dunner worry, Tone will prove 'em wrong just like he has done in the past. Strange how some people can change their mind just from a cup tie. Anything can happen in the FA cup, besides, we've now got more time to focus on staying up. Which we will with Pulis as manager

Totally endorse your comments!
We also have the worst disciplinary record in the Premierhship and to cap everything Rory Delap in a striking role!

Delap playing as a striker ! Liam desperate to start! Pericard in the team !
Pulis is too bloody stubborn to change what isn't working, we wait to go a goal down andTHEN we play 4 4 2.
And this against bloody Hartlepool.
For goodness sake TP admit the system isn't working.

And this against bloody Hartlepool. For goodness sake TP admit the system isn't working. Liam needed a 30 minute run out today to check there was no reaction to his injury - same with Kitson. TP's critics have been suggesting today's midfield for a few weeks now and look what happened. No matter how often they post, they are not with the players every day in training - sometimes we have to trust TP that he is playing the fittest most suited players in the Prem. This was always going to be a difficult season. If you look at the relegation places, then it is still very possible for the three promoted teams to be relegated. We are still in there fighting and it is now that the club needs our support. Every critic is simply hammering the nails into the coffin that would be relegation. I'm not talking about gratuitous praise, but sensible support that takes into account the enormity of the task facing us.

Nounce isn't a word mate. I used some creative license and used the word closest to it. Well in the Neckend it means intelligence, but then again I doubt you have the nounce to realise that. Sometimes even colloquialisms have a place in speach. Oh and that's a potteries word by the way

To those of you saying we should not crticise Pulis were you there today?? If not I suggest you keep your comments to yourselves to those of us who went today we deserve an apology for the lacklustre, spineless performace that was Stoke City today. Whilst we all know what Pulis has achived and desrves full credit for since his return, today was yet another very poor performance of what is a Jeckell & Hyde team. At home we look more like a team but away from home especially today we looked like 11 complete strangers, and before anyone says look at all the first team players missing, remember that the likes of Tounge, Soares, Sonko are all Pulis's so called Premiership signings!!! I beleive he should be in charge but we now have to question does he have the backing of the boys in the dressing room, after recent performances and incidents i'm begining to think he does'nt

Like the bloke who was trying to convince me that saying "should of" instead of "should have" was a colloquialism instead of just grammatical spazzmongery?
