5 - his hands were tied really with options but that said we should never see Pericard in a Stoke shirt again. He has lamented the performance well TP you are the motivator and right at this moment not a very good one. Another poor away day for the Potters.
My only reason for not dropping under 5 is that he gave both Kits and LL a run out.

Sod it, I'm not rounding up stuff outside the given boundary anymore. Between 1 and 10 or GTFO.

2 crackin 4 for playing a midfield with Whelan, Soares and Tongue in it -2 for being unable to accomodate them with our style of play

I would give a 1, but that would have been for just turning up, it appears we didn't even do that much oops, I just saw MD message, so I'll give a 1.

1 because you won't allow me a 0. TP's team he bought 'em, he picked 'em, he told them how to play (sic!!), he was supposed to motivate them. The buck stops at TP, no one else

And your point Del Boy as you did not score? TP has taken as far as he can, if he was man enough he would step down and allow someone to take them further so that we do not play championship footy next year.

Post by Del Boy on Jan 3, 2009 18:47:41 GMT
are you seriously suggesting that a manager of a premiership team should be "man enough" and resign at the start of january (transfer window) when he is 3points from 11th and on corse for 40points??

He gets 2 for picking what was probably our strongest side.....why he didnt have the management nouse to prepare and motivate his team does him no credit...remember how much money has been invested in the team...most of it was on show here.

2 Didn't go but losing to a wank league 1 side who lost to Crewe 4-1 is simply not good enough. It would be 1 but at least he chucked on Lawrence and Kitson towards the end.

1.733333333 is the average
Don't ask me why, but when I started doing these I ran a system of between 1 and 10. Ordinarily I'd just count a vote of < 1 as 1 and a vote of > 10 as 10, so even when people have made daft votes in the past (-1312647126 and 991212 being examples) I've just counted them as 1 and 10 respectively, adding a bit of consistency to the averages.

2 crackin 4 for playing a midfield with Whelan, Soares and Tongue in it -2 for being unable to accomodate them with our style of play Are you determined to see us relegated? It wasn't our style of play that gave the three of them problems, it was the Hartlepool players who insisted on running round off the ball making options for their team mates. That was what Soares, Tonge, Whelan and Oli struggled with. As usual, they failed to track back, challenge in the air or tackle. If you can find a midfield that stand around like spectators, tell our midfield of today as they will manage to track them back. I would give TP 5 for today. He gave some of the fringe players an opportunity to prove their worth (and they blew it big style). Up front, his hands were tied with Pericard the only experienced 'forward' available. Glad Lawrence and Kitson played a part. Loses marks for playing the midfield of the 'experts' on here. A suicidal midfield that will result in record defeats against Prem teams. Need new faces immediately, the forward options are very sparse.
