1. We now only have the league to concentrate with 2. If Lawrence was leaving surely he wouldn't be played in the cup as he would be cup tied for the buying club 3. At least Kitson had a run out so Pericard shouldn't start against Liverpool
It isn't all bad is it Come out Stoke beat the scousers and we'll all forget about the bad results last couple of weeks

We could still concentrate on the league a win against Hartlepool is hardly a major distraction. Lawrence would still have played if we’d have won Kitson would have played even if we’d have won Yes it is all bad an embarrassment and a disgrace.

4. Money saved from buying a replay ticket or any other tickets by moving on in the next round. 5. 1 less post match interview by Pulis.

The only good thing to come out of today was when I emptied my colon this morning.
If I hadn't I'd have probably shit myself listening to that dross on the radio.

Yeah - we don't need to worry about "will we, won't we" anymore:
We now know with absolute certainty just how hard the job is going to be to get even 15 more points in the next 18 games - and that we'll be comfortably 20th after the next 4 matches.

''We could still concentrate on the league a win against Hartlepool is hardly a major distraction'' yes it is a distraction any game that is not in the league is a distraction like instead of using his time prepariing players for Liverpool or signing new players he also has to prepare for the Hartlepool game am i right?
''Lawrence would still have played if we’d have won'' ''Kitson would have played even if we’d have won'' Agree with that but was just trying to name a few good things instead of moaning about everything but you wouldn't know anything about that as you only ever post on the board to moan
''Yes it is all bad an embarrassment and a disgrace.'' I would agree to a certain extent yes a bit embarrassing bt a disgrace? not quite dont' forget we've still got a very good chance to stay up which is the most important thing surely?

Theres one thing ive learned over the years and that nothing good comes from losing. TBH im totally embarassed yet again being done over yet again by a lower league side.

Every time Pericard plays and fails to score means he's one step close rto his last game for this club. Thats the only good thing I could take from today....surly he wont start next week?

No postives today - if we had at least got a draw then Fuller would at least been available for the Chelsea game as the reply would have been after the Liverpool game....... no postives at all other than Pulis must sign players sooner rather than later!!

Totally Agree With WINGE, Pulis Must Now Know That These Players Are Not Good Enough Even To Beat Hartlepool. Signing Players Before the Liverpool Game is A MUST!

What seemed to be a lively return from lawrence, plus the return of Kitson.
But mainly the fact that there has to be no doubt, even Tony must agree that Pericard is not good enough for Championship football let alone the Prem. get him out as soon as possible.

Not only out-fought but OUT-PLAYED by a side dicked 4 by Crewe - a team 9 points from safety in the third tier of football. Another loss and another inept performance from the manager and team.

Perhaps the realisation that our squad is nowhere near good enough. That the fringe players are not even div1 or championship quality and that TP has bought some right crap. And that you cant play the same tactics when your ONLY outlet (Mama) for it isnt on the park. It seems we can only play one way and when we havent got the personnel to do it,we will get beaten. By anyone.

And surely the best news of all - that we're not to be playing Man Utd next week, in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final. Right now, I couldn't stand the embarrassment.

Some positives:
Lawrence was back and seemed very much up for it - good to see in the light of the rumours regarding his injury and a possible fallout with the boss.
Dickinson played well.
Kitson played ok but had next to nothing to work with. There were a couple of times where he lost the ball in promising positions but compared to his strike partner he was pure dynamite. He's just not in the same physical mould as most of our squad - he puts in the legwork and gets about enough, but battling for the long balls mama style just isn't his strength.
The pies were way above par.
A negative not mentioned yet, there was disorganization in taking the throw ins (in particular those not taken by Rory). Hopefully this was part down to the major changes made to the team. It might be reading to much into it but from where we were liam looked frustrated by them resorting to the long throw where it was clearly not working for us.

Two positives:
11 quid for 8 drinks in the club just up from the ground and £3 to park the car
