Well A day in to the 'open' window and whilst we have been seriously unlucky (Kitson, Mama and now Ric) I think much more of either of these two featuring (unless its Cresswell as an occasional late substitute) will be symbolic of us giving up the ghost and accepting relegation. They really are so shockingly out of their depth its unbelievable. Even the biggest fan of Cressie could not deny that he was terrible at West Ham and whilst no one can fault his effort against the Shit he is patently a Championship player at best. Going into the season with only 3 decent strikers (and Mama at the time was also seen as unlikely to make the grade) was tantamount to gross negligence and for me it is no coincidence that the goals have now dried up and so have the points. Its also a sad state of affairs that we have no choice but to 'support' Ricardo (whatever anyone think or says or believes in) as the alternatives are truly horrendous - That shouldnt be the case and is why many Stokies are feeling their values compromised. Good strikers these days are undoubtedly a rare commodity but we have scarecly scored a goal from midfield either and have noone who is weighing in from there with any sort of contribution either. I hope and pray that we move quickly - we have run out of breathing space this time around and are not in a postion to wait until midnight when the window closes. Lessons need to be learnt and progress made or we will sadly remember our one and only season in the Premiership as being principally because these two were given far too many chances when is is clear to all that they are simply not good enough.
