Every point counts and even if we had to pay slightly more to push a deal through, it is vital we give ourselves every chance in all our matches. Without Ric, Mama and Kitson I can't see us having a shot in that game - with all credit to Whelan / Lawrence / Delap et al, if Pericard is the only outlet up there, we won't have the ball in their half long enough to create a chance.
Also, if we do get someone in for then, it'll show the player's desire to be playing for us and bodes well.
Come on TP and TS, get something wrapped up asap so it can breathe some much needed optimism back into the club and give us a fighting chance with these tricky fixtures coming up.

The only thing that could be good about this is if Vincent has a total fluke performance and clubs put in offers for him.

Of course they are, but most deals are completed in the latter part of the window due to having to wait for other teams to complete deals first before they will release players.
