Why wouldn't he be? He'll dress him down in private, probably appeal and then be done with it. Get on with it like men and in a professional manner.

He said he needs to deal with it. Not making big deal of it really.

I'm still confuddled how a slap round the ear hole is deemed violent. Anyone?

I'm still confuddled how a slap round the ear hole is deemed violent. Anyone? Bayern, this is what I cant understand. Im not defending Fuller at all. Maybe Griffin should not have walked nearly 35 yards to confront him, after all, he is the captain and needs to set the example, and I m not sure what confronting Fuller on the pitch can achieve. However, Fuller is out of order. However, to send Fuller and totally disadvantage the rest of the team is beyond me. SGS

Was it any worse than what Ballack did to the West Brom player the other day?

If I understand that rule correctly, raising your hand against another player is an instant sending off for violent conduct. It does not matter if it is a slap or a right-hook, it is the intenion that is the issue.

I think your right Mrmagic if you raise your hand you can expect to be sent off

Was it any worse than what Ballack did to the West Brom player the other day? You're right it isn't. But Ballack plays for Chelsea so it's ok

what if the slap is in the face of someone who has just scored and is a slap of congratulation? The rule is always going to be about interpretation.

Especially after being surrounded by West Ham players to send him off!!!! What annoys me most is, we are trying to attract players to the club in the next few days and trying to convince players we have a great 'togetherness'!!!!!

I'm still confuddled how a slap round the ear hole is deemed violent. Anyone? Well a raised arm from Rooney is not violent so it's anyone's guess as to what is!! ???

Which one of the two would you say was the more violent? Would he have sent off Rooney for doing the same to Neville? Not a bloody chance would he!

Especially after being surrounded by West Ham players to send him off!!!! Eh? there wasn't a wet sham player within 10 yards of em. Good to hear Pulis is keeping quiet in public. there'll be enough public humiliation on the highlight shows over the next few days, without TP joining in. ah

At least one West Ham player ran to the ref after the incident (Scott Parker), which I have no doubt he will have suggested the red card

Regarding the sending-off, it was very soft but raise your hands to someone's face (totally irrelevant whether it's a team mate or a member of the opposition) and you can expect to get sent off.
