I've been proper betting my hair off with Higgo this season at left back because he just lumps it up the field. This just means 9 out of 10 now that Mama is out that we give it away! Against Man U it was worse than ever and can we really afford to give the ball away to cheaply?
On the other hand Ab Faye looks extremely comfortable on the ball and brings it out well, he can pass too! Would it be worth swapping them over in the hope that we can keep the ball? At least until Mama is back? Otherwise I can see us needing a replacement for Higgo in terms of a natural player for the LB slot.

don't think we need ANOTHER square peg round hole situation and ab faye is our best centre half . higgy has been far better at left back this time around

Nooooooo!
He's an awesome centre back!
However I'd be more than happy if we moved Higgy in next to Abdoulaye, played Griff at left back and brought a pacey attacking right full back in during the window.

here's a novel idea, hows about a left back, playing at left back, crazy I know, but maybe we should try it

For all Abd Faye's strengths, his left foot is certainly not one of them! Him at Left back would be even worse than Shawcross at RB
