Well, what a bloody shock! How thick does Mike Ashley think football fans are? He never had any intention of selling Newcastle in the first place! He put it up for sale and waited for all the fuss to blow over. 3 months is hardly enough time to sell a house these days nevermind a football club.
Mike Ashley you are well and truly like me arse.

I'm sure he could have sold it even in this financial climate, if he had not asked silly money. After the shambles of his time as owner, there is no reason why he should have expected to walk away with a profit. To make a profit out of a football club most people would expect it to be in better shape than when it was bought. I notice quite a few potential buyers got as far as doing the "due diligence" checks - and then dropped their interest pretty quickly! Quelle surprise. ;D
The irony in all this is that Wise is still there (with no apparent job that I can see) and Ashley no longer dare sit amongst the home fans at his own stadium. An excellent state of affairs, I'd say! ;D

OE I didn't disagree with you when you said it first time - no need to repeat yourself within 12 minutes! ;D
