If anyone should have quit while he was ahead four or five years ago...

It's unreal. Did you hear him yesterday saying that he is struggling dividing his time between roles at the moment (first team / under bloody 8s) What the hell is that all about? They also frustrate me by saying that a potential manager needs to work 'the crewe way'. Produce players, sell them at knock down prices, and none of the money invested back into the squad.

If they want to get back anywhere near where they were, Dario, Baker and the whole set-up has to retire imho to give a new manager a chance. They're behaving like a baby Man U and they just aren't.

I'd really like to see Gudjon get it.

Crewe under Gradi have always been the graveyard of ambition. Gradi has always been more interested in developing the youngsters. Unsurprising as he gets at least 10% of every sale.

For a club the size of Crewe they've over achieved in recent years, Dario had them punching well above their weight for a few years but they'll always be a club that yo-yo's between the bottom two leagues, so he's probably right, it wouldn't be a disaster, but I wouldn't be to pleased if I was a fan hearing him say it so publicly

Jesus, you're know you're on a downer when your own manager doesn't mind relegation. Surely that must see the end of him. Can't compare Crewe and Madrid but Schuster as good as signed his own death warrant when he said to the press he thought Barca would beat Madrid. Some people are just idiots.
