Its surely the same "vocal minority" who text in every week. Why can't Radio Stoke just note the mobile numbers and filter them out if there are enough worthwhile, constuctive messages to read out. Also Ive noticed, is it always the same +/- 10 fans that phone in, that Darren from Stafford and Kev from Westlands are on every week! (although they are actually worth listening to. Occasionally.)

everyone is entitled to their opinion guys!
i think half the problem lies with Radio Stoke, who always want to (or at least it appears this way to me..) show SCFC in a negative way.
I wouldnt be supprised (cynically) if they were P&G 'ringers' who are told to ring in and complain.

If they are fucking moaning they arent stoke fans SGS SGS it's that type of thing that really fucks people like me off. I was a "PHW" back on the Rivals board but since we swapped, the "two camps" have stopped bickering and I must admit I'm warming to Tony having seen our position at the moment (although I'll insist that I've only seen us three times this season, unfortunately beyond my control- which may be affecting my judgement about whether or not we're still playing "Pulisball"), but how the hell can you say something like that? Is it "moaning" or is it "criticism" because we want better for the club? As I say I'm shifting a bit in my opinion, but saying that people aren't fans because they have a different view to you is absolutely abhorrent. It's these attacks on your fellow supporters that make YOU less of a fan than anything because it's elitist, supremecist shite that was causing the division in the first place. Anyway, just to reiterate my stance, Pulis IN.

Dont mind moaning if there is something to moan at. We have taken 4 points out of the last 4 games yet we are still 4th and only 3 points off 2nd place, auto promotion spot. We have signed Diao and Griffin and have more to come. We have nothing to moan about.

Must admit i dispaired at the return of coates and saw it as a step backwards, but i couldn't have been more wrong! Anyone who slates what coates and team have achieved in the last 18 months seriously needs to look at themselves, pop to the doctors and start taking the pills Well done Peter and thank you!

Let them cary on moaning. They won't dampen my enthusiasm or take the smile off my face. It makes me smile to hear people ringing into to say TP needs to sign this player, that player, strengthen the squad, blah blah blah. Do they think he's not aware of what we need, he is the one who has to pick the team, and so knows better than anybody that the squad is light.

I didn't hear the moaners but, they will always be there.
I must admit, I feel somewhat frustrated we are so near and yet so far. So, in spite of feeling more optimism than ever before, my concerns remain very real that we may well fall short again.
We do need more cover hence, the Griffin signing was a 'no brainer' to me. Even tonite, witness the full backs getting injuries today and, we've All seen how sometimes our midfield sits far too deep and gets out maneuvered by quicker nippier players.
We also know a good steady creative passing type midfielder would improve us no end too and give us additional options when injuries and suspensions really bite and the teams with the squads like Charlton come to the fore.
WE ALL also know, if we are honest with ourselves that, the front men at the club still aren't good enough.
We cant rely on Fuller for an entire season - he WILL be suspended again - he could suffer loss of form and worst of all, be injured and WE HAVEN'T got anyone to 'step up' who is a real recognized goal threat like he is
So, whilst somebody could say I'm moaning - our limitations remain clear and yes, IF Peter Coates DOES want the premier league money - he will have to spend some more in the next two weeks.
I'm afraid that much is pretty obvious to me
call me a moaner if you like, for saying this

There are a multiplicity of reasons why a Pulis hater has clear legitimate reasons to hate TP. No-one can argue that he hasnt done well in the transfer window uptil now and has pulled out a lot of gems. 90% defenders. But how can you justify so many things that the lying, manipulative cunt has done to our club. On paper, his philosophy of win at any cost is fair enough but the fact that we are subject to his "sneak a goal on the break" or off Rory's throw in's" is ridiculos. For 14 years, ever since my old man used to lift me over the turnstile at the victoria ground and i used to perch down in Butler Street have i ever witnessed such poor football on such a consistent basis. I can understand it to an extent with the major pressures on football managers nowadays but what really pisses me off is the way he has treated the fans. He even blamed the fans for watching training and then posting on the Oatcake what tactics and team he was intending to start with. I mean FFS Tone, just accept that you were completely tactically outhought like a majority of matches that we didnt deserve to win. But what has always, and always will piss me off about Tone is QPR at the end of last season. The biggest game since Cardiff in the Play-Offs, nothing to lose and his tactics were horrific. His stubborness is ridiculos. It has happened since the very start of his rain. Look at Bjarni, when Pulis first joined Bjarni was playing out of his skin. Virtually ripping teams apart but nonetheless, he still kept him on the bench. Same now is happenning with Phillips now. Now, at the moment, by any stretch of the imagination am i a Pulis hater its just that when people call people like me, a "sceptic" can shove it up their arses because its mainly us people like us who watch football and have a far superior knowledge of football and actually see the bigger picture. But anyway, C'mon Stoke!

Exactly Dino, and that what pisses me off about football nowadays. Take an example. England. They appointed Capello purely to get results not to entertain. What do you buy a season ticket for or a ticket to an England match for? A win at all costs. A win that you can watch down the pub. Well i buy mine for entertainment, and at the moment it's only the top 4 teams that provide me with consistent entertainment. Football is in a sad state nowadays IMO.

Blame Sky for turning football into a business. The reasonably even playing field that existed before that has gone forever.
