When was the last time you felt this optimistic being a Stoke fan?
I know this wont apply to everyone but for me personally i haven't, as a Stoke fan, felt this optimistic about the club and where it is heading for a long time.
Money is being put into the right areas and the team is looking good on the pitch, the right decisions are being made and promotion is looking a possibility.
Long may it continue!

The best thing about us now is that nobody rolls us over. We aren't a soft touch for anyone.

I like the fact that our traditional xmas/new year slump doesn't seem (touch wood) to have materialised. With a bit of luck we'll go into the last third of the season with a stronger squad and well-positioned for the final assault, rather than having to play catch-up like normal.

Sorry - I won't be optimistic until we've made the 3 signings that we need - better players than we already have, who are fit and ready to play. We've been let down too many times in the past. There's absolutely no reason to believe this season will be any different.

Despite my matchday thread demeanour I'm actually quite positive! Although that positivity will take a seriously BIG blow if we don't beat PNE.
