Slightly concerned that with all the Newcastle talk there aren't going to be that many stokies at ipswich
I am going with my two mates who are ipswich fans, so i'll settle for a diplomatic draw!

I'll be there and am bringing 3 others. Just hope the players aren't too distracted as this game is more expensive for supporters and more important than Newcastle!

We'll be there as ever, but I got an invitation from David Sheepshanks to go as a Boardroom guest (a consequence of now mixing with these guys as the supporter rep on the FA Council) so I'll no doubt be eating prawn sarnies or whatever with Peter C and others, and minding my ps and qs.
My daughter declined to accompany me, choosing instead to be in the Stoke end as usual. But this gave my nephew who is an Ipswich season-ticket holder the chance to come with me into the posh bit with his Chairman, which he's well chuffed about.
I think it's time for their brilliant home record to be dented. All these runs come to an end sometime. But it will be very interesting to see who replaces Mama. My prediction (but not my choice) is Vince. TP has a habit of making us eat our words so if he plays, what price him getting the winner...........?

I remember the disbelief among the travelling Stokies last season when Lewis Buxton lined up at centre half with Clint Hill at left back and Dicko on the bench, but we still went on to win 1-0 (a week after Colchester had grubbed us), with Buxton playing quite well. I still wouldn't be happy with Pericard up front though...

Yep, I remember it well, Dave - disbelief and anger before the kick-off, but as you say it worked out, with Buxton playing OK (was that his only start of the season ?)
Of course if Delap is still unfit, and Pugh is needed in central midfield, then it's even less likely that he will move Cressy out of the left wing spot, in which case it's a choice between Vince and The Beast and I can't see him starting with the Beast, particularly away from home.

Is there any chance of Diao playing because if he did i reckon Pugh would move to the left and Cresswell up front.
