WP, Checked AA route finder.I am hoping to do it in 4 and half hours from Stoke.Do you think this is possible.Must admit driving up there is not a problem, but driving back and then being at work for 6am is something i am not looking forward to. But it is for Stoke ;D

On a good run you should be able to get home in 3 hours. I'm on nights, I've booked the night off. I might spend all day Thursday in bed ;D. I remember driving back from Gillihoof 3 years ago, I put my foot down all the way home got in at 2:30, straight to bed alarm goes off at 5:30 drive to Derby for a 10 hour shift. BTW we were toss and lost 2-1

Markscfc71,
I am taking my son(having wed ) off school.I am working on the idea it will go to extra time and penalties.Reckon i will be back home by 2am.But i want him to go to school on the Thursday,i will be taking a sleeping bag for him on the way home.My wife is worried about it and would rather he did not go.He is 12 and loves Stoke City and i would love him to come with me.Needless to say he says he will be ok for his next day at school. Also his form teacher has booked the day off so he can also go upto SJP.

Stenny, How the hell can a teacher, “book time off”? I’m a teacher and would love to go, but you can’t book time off and if you ‘bob’ the day and get found out you’d be in deep trouble.
