That would be hilarious if one of them got it. ;D Why is that? Gudjon got a team promoted from that Division and Cotterill has proved himself to be a decent Manager at that level. They could do a lot worse.

They have also been linked with Nigel Clough from Burton Albion,i hope he stays put with the Brewers this season. They have a great chance of promotion to the football league this season. If they don't go up this time i can see him being in the league next season anyway, one to watch for the future.

I think that Nigel Clough would be a great manager for Crewe or Port Vale.
Cotterell on the other hand is a horrible obnoxious big headed ignorant little shit...and I did choose my words carefully with much deliberation.

Forget Cotterill...about as loyal as a labrador at a kids party....Gudjon would do ok at that level but Nigel Clough would be a good choice for both him and crewe

Ah! Is that why I heard Gudjon on the radio this morning. Just caught the tail end of an interview on the Sports headlines on RS.

What a treat it would be to have Gudjon back on the local scene. Cotterill on the other hand would be as welcome as a Gary Glitter medley on Children in Need.

Anyone know if Gunnar Gislason still keeps tabs on the club? Has he been over since teh season started. He must be made up (on a personal level) with how things are going.

I think the Jug eared c.u.n.t is ideal for the job A younger version of the Child Catcher in CCBB Ideal to work with their present youth and management structures GD

I've still got a big soft spot for Gudjon, the man who kick started this revival in the club's fortunes. God knows where we would be if he hadn't sat in that half empty stand that night and wondered .......... the rest is history.
I've also got a big soft spot earmarked for the Jug eared twat - at the bottom of my garden!

Nigel Clough's been manager at Burton for 10 years or more hasn't he?

Quitterall, oh dear how the mighty fall Gudjon would be a fantastic choice for them though, good luck to him. As for Nigel Clough, I think he's had too long being a big fish in a small pond now, it just doesn't make sense that he's stayed at Burton so long if he really wants to be a league manager.

Sal, I used to live in Burton and still in touch with a lot Burton Albion fans, they reckon he will be the next Forest manager.Calderwood is not far away from the chop i reckon. Used to go Eton Park to watch Burton a lot ,Neil Warnock was the manager at the time.Really hope they get promoted.

Gudjon for me. Having the interviews back on Radio Stoke would be fantastic. If it it wasn't for our club, it would still be great entertainment. Ken Dodd would probably be a good choice as well. Is Super Dario still in the back ground?

Loathesome though he is, Cotteril, at that level, would be a terrific appointment for Crewe.
Gudjon could work if Crewe back him, as the Icelanders largely backed him, to spend some money. Don't forget though he did fuck all at Barnsley and Notts County.

Fair play to Clough though, at least he has learned his trade in the lower echelons, and not just walked into a Prem job because "he used to play for Man U" (yes, and I know HE didnt, but you know what I mean)

Super Dario has come back from the heady hights of Crewe Directors etc to be the caretaker manager. This not only includes watching his beloved side lose again but do all the things a caretaker does in a school GD
