Something which has emerged from "Irlamgate" is that section 27 was also used before the Man City game at Piccadilly station. The FSF would like to hear from anyone who had the section used on them on that occasion or witnessed it on that day. I have heard at 2nd hand that it was used on a 62-year old woman who was put on a train back to Stoke. Can anyone put us in touch with that lady ? malcolm.clarke@fsf.org.uk

This has got to be a joke right?
Two van loads of the GMP's finest replete with truncheons and full body armour jump some nice old biddy and bundle her on to a train back to whence she came!

It is worse than that - she might not have even come from Stoke!

Some GMP cretin probably saw 'hell's grannies' on Monty Python and didn't realise it was a joke.
