Whilst it's great to be involved in the quarter finals of the league cup, the Derby game will probably knock quite a few of Saturdays attendance.
I fear it could be our lowest crowd in the premiership thus far, which is a shame becasue it's a massive, massive game.
Add in the reduced prices for the Derby fixture on Tuesday and the time of the year (run up to Christmas) and I would say a crowd of 25,000 may be on the cards.
Also the Derby game will be affected in a similar way, whilst it's good that the club have discounted the tickets, I think that they could have kept them at the £10 as per previous games given that it's on the back of two home games for any non ST holder

Yes, it is a pity when we don't have a full house but 25k always generates plenty of atmosphere at the Brit. I think if we beat Hull that will pull a few more out for the Derby cup game.

Pulis seemed to be under the impression in his BBC interview after the game that the Hull game was sold out?!

Further to that, I assume that the club will now be reducing its prices in line with the 2.5% V.A.T reduction? This would mean about a £1.50 reduction for people buying Manure and Fulham tickets or £6 off for those buying the cheapest half-season ticket. We should be told, quickly.

It’s a difficult one Lightwood. In the run up to xmas and the current financial climate, fans are no doubt having to pick and choose games. For those going away to Newcastle in a couple of weeks, they will be forking out a few quid. With tickets, travel, accommodation (I’m stopping over) and drinks etc it’s going to cost me easily in excess of £100. I’ll be at the Hull game too as I have a ST so I may have to miss the Derby game in order to save a few pennies. I’ll no doubt end up going because it’s a big opportunity for us as a club but I can easily understand why fans are having to pick and choose games which they attend.

It was linked to Arsenal. I'm sure Coatesy will love to be seen to be supporting the V.A.T giveaway for his Labour cronies..

Interesting point re season tickets. Those paid for upfront will remain at the same price (ie no refunds) - but I am not sure what VAT rate any unpaid installments will attract. I used to be a VAT man but too long ago to remember how installment payments are treated if the VAT rate changes.

You can buy Hull tickets on their own - providing there are tickets left, of course.

As a season ticket holder I couldn't buy more than 1 ticket for the Derby game at the weekend as a mate wants to go as well. So I waited til this morning.
Number 38 in the queue at 9:03. So I tried on line - annoyingly it still only lets you buy 1 (even though they're now on general sale).
But, you're right, it looks pretty sold out. I managed to get 2 tickets (in different blocks) but there were hardly any available.
If it hasn't already, it will defo sell out this morning.

There'll be loads left in Stoke stand won't there? ???

Bayern, there will be plenty left in Stoke ends, I’m pretty sure of that.
I’ve heard Derby have sold out though.

Derby have sold out their entire allocation 4,800..which is the whole South Stand...and 'I would just love it' if we could sell the remaining 23,500 tickets..but with Christmas coming up and all the expense that entails..and after 2 home games back to back I think we'll struggle... I'm travelling all the way from Herefordshire (and back) for the Derby game for 2 reasons; 1 This is the first quarter final for over 30 years that we've been in.. 2 Enjoy it while it lasts.. Because my experience of supporting Stoke since the 1970's is that it dunna happen very offen..

The Hull match WILL BE very close to a sell-out. There were only around 1000 tickets left after the Arsenal match, so it will be very close to selling out.

Dont know how accurate the online booking system is - but there was a maximum of 15 seats free in the entire boothen at 9:30 this morning. I bought 2.
Reckon it'll sell out easy - and probably today.

The online system only has a few tickets on sale to my experience-dunna scare people like that!

It's not a great booking system to be honest- but better than holding on for over an hour at 10p per min!!

Will we all save 7p on a programme for the next 13 months? Hull is a big big game (aren't they all at this level?) adn I'm sure the Tigers will help swell the crowd by taking their allocation. A crowd of 26K wouldn't be a disgrace but as mentioned, TP hinted it was sold out in his MOTD interview.

I also got my Derby tickets online due to the large queues at the ticket office this morning.
If they only give a small amount of tickets to the online booking system they seem to be very random, I couldn't find 4 tickets together anywhere other than the front row of the Seddon so I had to get those. There seemed to be a few single seats in the West Stand and then some on there own at the front of the Boothen but that was all. It didn't seem like they had been selected for online sale only, seems avery strange selection procedure if they were.

Bought my Derby ticket for my usual seat in Seddon Block 27 at about 12:30 today. Majority of the seats in the surrounding area were still showing as available (green on the screen).
Steady queue of about 6 to 10.

It's a bit crap how you're lucky to get even two tickets together from scfcdirect.com

I went to collect my tickets (purchased online earlier) from the ticket office. I explained to them that the selection on line was ridiculously limited - he couldnt understand why and said there were loads of tickets left.
He therefore swapped my 2 random seats for 2 together in Block 22.
Clearly the online system needs sorting out.
