I'm not so sure you'd see such an increase. With the inevitable rise in season ticket prices, less people will be able to afford, and will just have to pick and choose their games.
Around 11k i'd say.

depends very much on the price but if the price was the same then I honestly think people would go Stokebananas if we go up.
20000 - including lots of people who havnt been for years & years.

I agree, I would say over 20000, as long as they don't price hike it too much.

First season in the top flight for two decades......... Mmmmm.. i would say about 15-17k being optimistic!
Next season in Prem league (even after relegation follwed by promotion) 14-15k.

Think crazypotter has it about right. Prices would have to go up regardless of TV money and I think the past 20 years or so have proved that the market for attending live football on a regular basis in North Staffs has shrunk considerably, mainly due to the sky-high costs and, sadly, a general lack of interest.

There would definatley be a price hike, That goes without saying. It would be up to the club to make sure the increase didnt deter fans from splashing out on a season ticket.

As above I think attendancies may stay about the same. Expect a teep increase the price of season tickets with no special offers and also an increase by about £4 - 5 on a normal match ticket. Then add to that the inevitable £40 ticket for a trip to Chelsea and £45 or more for an away to Man Utd I would say away attendences may fall as well.

I reckon we'd get abou 18k, people who pick and choose their games now would get a season ticket so they would get a decent seat for all the big games and so they'd have a better chance of securing an away ticket. People would be willing to pay that bit extra!

I think there'll be a big price hike only if we are mathematically certain to go up when the prices are announced. As that's unlikely, I think the pre-deadline prices will be a little up on this season, but with a big increase in post-deadline and matchday prices if we do get promotion.
If it's looking likely that we're up prior to the first deadline, I think we'll easily beat the previous record (10,500?), probably getting 13 - 15k.
Wonder what sort of limit the club would put on ST numbers if demand was higher than that?

If a season ticket worked out say £19 a game then we would sell around 20k easy.
The prices on the gate would be similar to the John Smiths Upper now but all around the ground, but people will then pay for a season ticket because the standard of product/opposition would be worth it for the above price for prem football.

Glory hunters they might bem trend, but who gives a bugger. The club will still be able to use their money. I know what you mean, mate, and it pisses me off that people who'd make the effort, and lay out the money to watch us in the Premier Division (If we DO get there) won't come along now, but as I say, who gives a bugger. I suppose they'll still get behind the lads, and that's what we'll need.

I can't imagine that, after watching Stoke regularly with an ST during all these up-and-down recent seasons, often enduring crap football or 'big' games against Colchester United, that I would stop it just when they've actually got to where I've always wished them to be, just for the sake of an extra hundred quid or so a year.

Like a lot of exiles the cost of my season ticket is far less than the cost of getting to Stoke. So, I'd certainly not stop buying one just because the price went up by £100 or so. What would change though, is that I'd pick and choose my away games. At the moment I go to virtually all away games in the north of England. I think some of the more expensive tickets might cause me to give some away games a miss - especially if it was live on TV. Roll on my 65th Birthday when I can get in cheap at all grounds and not just some.
