Are you more concerned with Kitsons injury or Shawcross's
I can't come with an answer
Shawcross, has played quality since his return to the side, he's put in 3 or 4 quality displays, whereas lets be fair Kitson hasn't
On the other hand we have plenty of cover for shawcross, if he was out for a lengthy time, i wouldn't be that concerned with Cort or Sonko taking his place. If kitson was out for a lengthy time, I'd be happy starting with Mama and Fuller, but should one of them get injured, i don't think i'd be too confident with periwinkle or cressers starting with the other on the bench

Tend to agree with you.
What is the news on Kitson, we could do with him for the League Cup if nothing else...?

thats a poser 1863! mmm...not too sure, but i have an awful feeling we won't see Kitson again ie, will not be available til Jan, then shipped out! Hope i'm wrong...I really want the lad to prove to himself that he is versatile enough to come to Stoke and prove his wares! I really HAVE (not had) faith in him, but if Liam is due back to feed our Fuller and mama, i fear a spot on the bench would be likely for him! That said, if Cressy gets off the bench before Kitson, TP's labotomy should be booked in

For me it's Kitson.
Ryan has been excellent since getting back into the side but surely Cort and Sonko if picked will look to push to become part of that starting 11 like Shawcross has done, both should be able to fit into the side with ease.
Up front we're seriously lacking, really we have Kitson, Fuller and Sidibe to get us through until January, then Cresswell who's play more on the wing. Kitson hasn't started great and Sidibe isn't a 20 goals a season striker, lose Fuller to injury/suspension and we're looking at Pericard to help us out?!!!
Still, I think Shawcross will be fit for the weekend, while I think we'll lose Kitson for a month.

It's more important for Ryan I'd say, he's less experienced and although he's been on a great run, as we've all seen his confidence and concentration are still quite fragile so he could do without being away for long. As for Kitson - I just hope you're wrong about not seeing him again, 25, but like you I'm not so sure.

at the minute im more concered with kitsons injury. mainly for the reasons you'v said
we have plenty if cover for shawcross, in Cort and Sonko. but if either fuller or mama become injured or suspended, which is possible with fuller. we will be down to the bare bones, with cresswell and vince, and even though cresswell works hard i wouldnt he's not a player who will get us the goals we need to help us stay in the league. as for pericard he just isnt premiership player. as we saw at the rotherham game, he put a one on one chance embarassingly wide.
if it did come to this i would be inclined to play soares up front. he got pace, and even though he hasnt scored yet he would be a greater threat than the two other options we have

Kitson - less cover, and the injury (on the face of it) looked worse.
