We've heard the stories of Wigan being interested in Mama, but he will not be going anywhere,
Because Riccy loves him, Riccy could'nt wish for a better strike partner than Mama, its as simple as that, he's a workhorse and creates plenty of goals for Ric. 8-)And personally I beleive Mama is more than happy playing for Stoke.
If TP goes to the trouble of getting in Demar and trying to get Austin in, i'm not saying he's tried to get both Demar and Austin in ONLY beacause of Fuller, but its a coincidence isn't it that they are both Jamaican.
Pulis would be very silly to sell Mama and replace him with Harewood, because Mama n Riccy are like Bread n Butter, he will know this.
If the Harewood deal is done it will be not to replace Mama but to add to our attacking options and to create more worthy compitition for both spots up front.

I agree. Mama is essential to us, a vital cog in the Stoke machine which produces the end product for our Riccy Fuller, if we were to let him go it would be a travesty.
Mama is special to all of us. If any deal for Harewood surfaces, then yes it would be to add to our options, but I get the feeling, if Harewood was to come in then it would only be if Kitson decided to go.

Mama is loved by Stokies because he is quite simply superb in the role he's employed to play.
Stokies forgive him for the times he slices a pass or balloons a shot or header over the bar.
I'm not sure other fans would be so supportive if he was asked to play a different role to the one he plays for us.
At the moment it's simple:
We love MAMA and MAMA loves us, I would be surprised if he wanted away.

He's going nowhere ... simple as. We'd need to bring in another 3 strikers before TP would even think about letting Mama go. Whats the point? The type of player he is never warrants a big transfer fee and what we could get for him would not be worth how important he is to us. Even if we stop up and improve he's an ideal substitute for the last 20 or so. When you add on he won't moan when he isn't playing i can't think of a single reason other than about 6-10 million quid that would make it worth selling him.

future team sorenson Griffin shawcross Faye Higgy Delap soares Tonge Mama Fuller Harewood It looks a good line-up and to think lawrence isnt in that is very encouraging because when we have liam back soares creates good compitition for him and the CM positions too. Soares also favours a CM spot according to himself. Would'nt it be good when Liam is fit to maybe see Soares in CM with Diao to give us a bit more flair and pace and a forward thinking CM player? especially at home!!! Could'nt see us playing that lineup though smigchop unless we were losing, TP is way to catious? And we would always use the 3rd quality forward player as an impact player to come off the bench? How long is it until Liam is fit??? Does anybody know??? ???

If Wigan are interested, then I can only think that it would for Mama as cover for Heskey - not a very attractive proposition for Mama to move to a club, with about a quarter of the number of supporters, and spend most of the time on the bench. Besides, I get the impression that he is loyal to Stoke.

Mama is Stoke City through and through. Why would he leave us? I know Wigan are a more established Premier League club but they are behind us in the league and have only attendances of around 15,000. I know where I'd rather be.

Pulis wouldn't sell him even if a £ 20 million pound bid came in.
That goes for Delap..Fuller too.

Mama and fuller as good as any strike pairing in the Prem. If mama does go in jan it won't be pulis or mamas doing and I for one would be pointing a finger at the board room

Tony P stood by Mama when plenty of Stokies were complaining about him last season. Yeah, he only scored 4 goals last term but vital ones as reports have recently suggested. The thing is with Mama is he's "happy" at Stoke He's happy playing in his role with Ric and has the full support of the Manager, Board, Players and the WHOLE of the Stoke fans at home games. The chant you lads created for Mama is BRILLIANT! He's a top bloke is our Mama.
