I don't know who I prefer, Sam Bang for 1 mill who was never here or Lightbourne for half a mill but was always here.
Why didn't he ever get lost in Africa and turn up months late?
".....I'm stuck in africa boss......"
"......that's ok, don't rush back Kyle......"

You can look at it in plain money terms it would be sammy for £1m but in real terms it would be Alan Hudson. We paid £250,000 in 1974(?)

We broke the British Transfer record in Oct 74 signing Shilton for £350k. That brought our total for that year to over £750k in an attempt to win the old 1st div championship. Anybody care to guess who who the other £400k was spent on ? My guess is Alan Hudson and Geoff Salmons.

Bangoura was undisclosed wasn't it, as I'm sure both Cort, and if he signs, Shawcross will be so we'll probably never know.
