I think we can, all runs cant go on forever- so neither can theirs, we've proved we can match most teams on our day.
Hopefully, our players will have been well rested this week for the far more important league game this saturday
maybe another signing will give the team a filip
as for myself - I think we'll do them 2;1 -the key will be, to score first
up front Cresswell and Fuller please with Big Jon as our 'impact' player
Djao on the bench perhaps
its good to be a stokie just now !

They are a decent team at home that is undoubted but they will also have to be at their very best against a pretty damn stubborn and determined Stoke side at the moment. I am going to say away win on this one I just have that gut feeling.

Granted they have an excellent home record but their away record is w*nk, so they are far from unbeatable. As the table suggests there's no team we can't beat, and with the team spirit and effort the way it is three points could be on the cards saturday.

Pulis' tactics against the self-proclaimed "carpet football" teams should work against Ipswich.
Let them play it about, keeping two solid lines of four, and not committing players when they have the ball. It means they can't exploit the gaps when a player is drawn out. That's most teams downfall when playing against Ipswich and WBA, etc.

Yes of course we can and I've no doubt at all that we will. At the end of the day, they're not THAT good and the law of averages tells us that sooner or later they're going to lose that home record. For a team as average as Ipswich, it's gone on for far too long anyway.
So, Tractor boys 0 The mighty, mighty Potters 1 (Parkin 63)

They have actually lost at home to Portsmouth just not in the league yet, though that is only a matter of days away.

Ipswich are a cracking team at home but we aren't bad away. Its important that we go to try and win the game and not sit on a 0-0.

I'm really looking forward to this one...
In Ipswich you have the team with the best home record in the CCC (W11, D2, L0). Amazing really that they are SO wank away (W0, D4, L9).
In Stoke you have the team with the best record in the CCC against top half opposition (W5, D7, L1).
For me the key to this game is possession and maintaining pressure on the ball when we haven't got it for the full 90 minutes. Ipswich are a pretty, passing side like WBA but are no way watertight at the back.
Without Mama we're going to need Ric, Liam and Cress at 100%...
Go on Stoke... ;D

they are a delicate glass slippered "footballing" team who delicately spread play and beautifully construct carpet attacks but we are taking down Cort Shawcross Parkin Fuller Lawrence i.e the sledgehammer easy easy easy

Hi Stoke Fans, an Ipswich Town fan here coming in peace, Just wanted to say best of luck for Sat, lets hope for a real cracker of a game. Personally i think this will be the toughest test of our home form since West Brom (im still pinching myself that we beat them) For me Stoke are one of the strongest in this league, you've got a good squad and always seem to do well against us. The main thing worrying me about your squad is the height, which could cause us problems. If only we could sort out our abysmal away form we might stand a chance of seeing you in the play-offs. 2-1 to Town methinks See you on Sat Stokies

Hi Suffolk,
I think this will be a cracking game, if not particularly pretty.
When I saw your 6-0 thrashing of Bristol City I thought you'd be top 6 no problem. Jim's obviously got your lot playing confidently at home but the away form situation is bizarre, frankly, and can only be psychological...
Tucking away fans in the corner of the ground is a good way to make your ground a fortress. Not as many will travel this weekend because of the NUFC 'distraction' but those that do will be heard, believe me...
Bring it on Tractor Boys, let's hope it will be a good'un... ;D

For me it all depends if the real Fuller turns up. If he does we have a really good chance, if he is off his game it will be tough.

H I was right behind the goal when Fuller scored against Leicester for us during his loan period. He had a knee problem if i remember correctly, but has come on leaps and bounds for you.

ipswich's back four Castro, Bruce, De Vos, Wright. Not blessed with pace is it? a defence fuller can definitely rip to shreds on his day.
Does anyone know how many we have sold/hoping to take on sat?
