Zakuani agrees Peterborough terms Gabby Zakuani Zakuani has made 11 appearances for Posh since arriving on loan
Peterborough United have agreed a deal to bring Gabriel Zakuani to London Road on a permanent basis.
The Fulham loanee, 21, will sign a three-and-a-half year contract when his deal expires on 13 December.
Zakuani has been a virtual ever-present in defence for Darren Ferguson's side since his arrival in September.
The deal cannot be competed until 1 January, meaning the DR Congo international will miss matches against Leicester, Millwall and Cheltenham.

I remember his first touch at Ipswich, Away. Shocking.
Good player when confident.

He won every headed high ball at the Ipswich game that came his way.
It is a pity that his distribution was so poor.

I thought Zak was a superb centre back. Maybe even better than Shawcross last season when he played there. I rate Zak very highly at centre back. Worst right back in the world though! Good luck Zak!

He's a better player than Posh imo, he might be a coup for then but he's worth more than getting lost in the lower leagues, so I hope he helps then go up.
But maybe people were saying that about Ryan when we looked a mediocre Champ side to those who didn't know the truth...

Saw him when Posh played Crewe when I won those free tickets with CokeZone.
Zak was bullied into a bad performance by Crewe fans with chants like, Your a Twit and So's your Dad although it wasn't a Twit that they were calling him. Shame really as he seemed great in the warm-up and I was going to get his autograph before he scurried away from the Crewe stand.
