With Ricardo jet lagged, will this be kitsons one and possibly final chance to shine in a Stoke shirt against the West Brazilians?
This is the opportunity for him now. He has stuttered and stumbled and despite his excellent work ethic, he hasn't got a goal. I desperately want him to succeed and I have a feeling that this may be his game.
If he does misfire again though, are we to think that he just cannot adapt to Pulis' style? And if that is the case, what is the point in him staying here?

Alot of peope have said this about his last few games, alot of people have abandoned hope.
I believe he can do it and i believe he's got alot to give with us. As you say Steve, I also hope he succeeds with us and he stays on after Jan, after all he is one of us.
I think he's been incredible unfortunate with the last few goals that could have been.
So also I can say is
GOARN KITS! WERE BEHIND YOU SON

Looked fine to me against Rotherham when he was receiving decent ball.
He was outstanding.

Ilford, nothing is wrong. I'm having a conversation about a £5.5m striker who hasn't scored yet.
Relax.

Lol, my appologies WD, my fingers simply got carried away.
Joe, well said, definatly not his last chance, just another chance. As long as he's red and white, i'll not write him off.

he'll be ok. After all he could get a hat trick and hed be well up the scoring charts. Please don't read negative vibes into my post. I want him to score for us and succeed like everyone else. I have no alteria motive. But my question is simple, can he score with our style? Do you really think he will get a hat trick? Seriously? I would dearly love to come on here on Saturday evening and be proven wrong, but unless he creates his own chances, or scores off a throw in, I don't see how he will score. He is a talented player with much going for him, but Pulis' style simple doesn't encorporate his assetts.

SSS, you say 'Please don't read negative vibes into my post' - why did you call the post 'Kitsons last chance' Too much negativity on here, I despair.

Lew, "definitely" not "definatly". Kind regards WD Steve, I think he can mate, not sure about a hat trick, but i think he can fit in. All the lads are behind him and we've heared Ric's backing him

The title is a question happylarry. There is no negativity, just conversation. The only negativity comes from those reading negativity into the conversation.

Can't see why it would be his last chance. It's certainly his best opportunity yet to stake his claim.

Isn't ric suspended for this match for the yellow he picked up at Old Trafford?
I think this is Kitsons last chance, if he dosn't score on Sat TP will go back to Ric and Mama and he will be a bit part player for the rest of the season. However if he thumps a couple in and with the arrival of ?? imminent (sorry forgot the name of the lad from Moscow) TP might consider giving him a go, as we may play a little more on the deck which would suit kitsons style more than Mamas.

The game on Saturday is a great opportunity for Kits to cement his place back in the first team. He has got to make it impossible for Tone to drop him. A goal is a must, or possibly a great assist. Either way, we need to win the game and he will have a huge influence one way or another.

Staggering, it is a good chance for Kits to shine on Saturday. But lets juge him on how we line up, if he is going to be asked to chae into the channels and win flick on's we won't see him at his best. BUT if we get the ball into his feet in and around the box for him to twist and turn we could see a decent output from the lad.
Kitson is obviously a good footballer, it would be crazy to loose such talent because of the failings of the manager.
Its just a bizzare world we live in when mama went the majority of last season without a goal and he was given chance after chance after chance and is still getting them. BUT we now write off a £5.5m plus player who has been in the England squad after 12 games strange world we live in indeed

He'll have lots of chances until January and then we will fuck up signing Harewood not get a work permit for the Ivorian and scramble around to the 31st before signing Henri fooking Camara for too much money and his chance will be gone. We will then sell him for £2M to newly promoted Reading where he will score 20 goals and get an England cap.
You read it here first.

One big huge "there's only one, David Kitson.....!", jus as we kick off should spark him into action & set the standard for the rest of the game..
sometimes we as fans need to drag players over the line kicking & screaming if needs be..
GOARRRRN STOKE!

More not rating our ability to do business quickly in the window RVD! I actually think Harewood would fit into our tactics well but never really been a fan of Camara at all.

Yeah, I think we're all braced for the inevitable pissing about until about 11:45 on January 31st. I think Camara, cock though he is, would be decent cover for Fuller.

I'm with eriksson on this one. How on earth does TP think he is going to get the best out of Kitson with the current tactic? When he signed we said we were signing some exciting players??? The only half exciting players we signed we Tonge and Soares and both have them have been dropped in favour of a four-man defensive midfield.
If we do not start at least one creative midfield man against a team with a defense as poor as WBA questions need to be asked.

I don't think it is. Mama hadn't scored by this time last season, I know Mama offers more to the team but there's still time for Davey K to bang some in

This will have been mentioned at some point, but Kitson has had a large spell on the bench this season yet Robbie Keane has been played nearly every game, then the game without Torres he bangs em in for fun. Hopefully Kits will replicate that this weekend.
