Hi, I've just been online to sort out my carling cup tickets and noticed that I had also in my reserved section Man Utd tickets reserved as well... However they are my season ticket seats, so why would i need to reserve them.
Does it show up for anyone else?
cheers

if you go to tickets tab and then go to the bottom where it says reservations. then click the event table sub tab. Then the cup ticket reservation is in there

Confused... Why would you have to reserve the tickets you hold as a season ticket holder for the carling cup match?? It comes up with an offer of £15?? I am looking to add an exta adult ticket for the match.. Anyone know the answer to the 2 questions???

I spoke to the ticket office today regarding the derby game and if you have a season ticket you can only buy one ticket if you require extra tickets you will have to wait until they go on general sale next week

So have you got to buy your own seat or is this for extr seats?

I went to buy my Derby tickets from the ground yesterday. I have a season ticket in the JSU but wanted to sit in the Seddon for a bit of a change (I did this for the Rotherham game with no problem).
But I was told that for this match I HAD to sit in my season ticket seat as "all the season ticket seats have been reserved". So what about the fans with season tickets in the South Stand (which is to be all away fans for this fixture) - the young lad just said "they'll just have to fit in after the other tickets have been sold".
So yes, it does look like you have to sit in your "own" seat for this one. Except for the those with season tickets in the South Stand who can't.
Completely ridiculous.

Jen,
I might be a bit thick here? Why don't you not take the reserve on your seat and just buy a ticket else where? They can't force you to buy a reserved seat can they?

Menorcasi
I said I wanted a seat in the Seddon, but I was told I could only buy my own seat.
The only other option would be to wait until the tickets go on general sale and hope to be able to get a seat in the Seddon then, once all the sales to season ticket holders had been made. But I didn't want to take the chance on not being able to get a ticket.
I suppose I could see if I can swap my tickets for some in the Seddon when they go on general sale next week, but why should I have to go through the hassle. For me, one of the attractions of cup games is to be able to sit in another part of the ground, and I can't understand why the club seem to have changed the "rules" for this game.

Maybe the club are doing it this way so that they can be sure of having seats available for the south Stand S/T holders, afterall it would be a proper balls up if those S/T holders couldn't get a seat

But surely this makes it more difficult for the South Stand season ticket holders to get a seat - they can't buy their own seats (because Derby have the whole stand for this one) and they can't buy other season ticket holders seats, because they have all been reserved.

Jen,
Swapping tickets is a nightmare as well. I tried to swap 2 Boothen tickets for the JS Upper for WBA, I was will of course willing to pay the difference. I was told that I could only swap them for tickets in the same price range (basically the South Stand) and that I would be lucky to get 2 seats together. In past seasons I had no problem doing this.
As all tickets are the same price for Derby you might be ok, don't count on it though...

Well we have 21,000 ST holders, or could have very shortly, and with Derby having 4,800 seats out of our 28,300 stadium that leaves us with 2,500 tickets for general sale. Really its best the way tehy are doing it. Buy the ticket then when they go on general sale take it back and move.

Just logged on to SCFC direct and I have a tick by WBA and Hull (available to purchase). The Derby game says "not on sale", useless feckers.

I've just logged on today and the man utd at home has now gone, so they must have sorted the problem.
As for carling cup, the club automaticly reserve you your season ticket seats for cup matches and you can buy them at anytime, however i think if they are not brought by the time they go on GS then they go up for sale.

So do we ST holders HAVE to reserve our seat for the night? Any ideas? s8to if you are going to the game you need to purchase a ticket for it yes! Top do this you need to take your season ticket to the ticket office and ask for your seat for derby. If you are not going to the game you don't have to do anything Wow thanks, I thought the ST would inc every game this season... Silly me... Will get myself up the ticket office then... When do they go on sale to us holders?

Jen,
It all sounds a bit crazy, Surly the club should sell you a ticket for your chosen seat and un reserve you season ticket seat. It's not rocket science is it.
May be you could ask them to do the above. Good luck.

Menorcasi,
I did ask, but was told it couldn't be done for this one, as all the season ticket seats are reserved. So I would have to wait until the tickets went on general sale - and I chose not to do this because I wanted to be sure of a ticket.
Yes, it is a bit crazy.

I have season tickets in the South Stand and as Derby have been allocated the whole end the club offer you seats elsewhere in the ground that are not currently been used by existing season ticket holders, you cannot buy extra tickets at the moment as you have to wait until they go on general sale.

Don't get what the problem is?
ST tickets are always reserved for a week or so after cup tickets go on sale. I'm sure once tickets go on Genral sale - weds i think? The you can sit wherever you want.
Role reversal - You go to hte ticket office today to buy your usual ST seat - reply sorry mate sold to another ST holder who fancied a change of view.
Would you be happy?

ladyin red, Logic would say that you could say, Thanks, you can release my seat now to the general public and I'd like to buy one else where. I really can't see what the problem with this is. Modern day computer programmes will let you do it so I'd put it down to the ticket office being pedantic.
