1.5mil for Sylvan Ebanks Blake (sp) Would be a great signing for stoke. They certainly are spending this time!

Thing is with them, and something that some stoke fans have asked with our squad is, how many of the players they have brought in would stand a chance in the prem? Can't think of any to be honest. So for all the money they have got, are they really good signings? In our position we take what we get with good signings to go up, with them they are buying a full 11 again and none of them will start in the prem if they go up! What incentive is there for those QPR players to bust a gut to get in there? At least most of ours will be given a chance due to the difference in budgets.

They haven't bought a team, mark. They've just bought some good players who will take time to gel as a team. Stoke are a team!

Stoke have 2 maybe three players that could possibly make it in the Prem, if we do get promoted then we have to invest in better players or we will do another Derby. QPR on the other hand can buy decent championship players now to get them promoted, then get rid and buy players of prem quality. That is the difference.

QPR are spending alot of money on average Championship players IMHO. It appears they are going for quantity rather than quality.
Fitz Hall Undisclosed Wigan Ath Patrick Agyemang Undisclosed Preston NE Akos Buzsaky Undisclosed Plymouth Matthew Connolly Undisclosed Arsenal Hogan Ephraim Undisclosed West Ham Kieran Lee On Loan Man Utd Res Gavin Mahon On Loan Watford Robert Malcolm On Loan Derby Martin Cranie On Loan Portsmouth Jason Jarrett On Loan Preston NE Rowan Vine On Loan Birmingham
Of the above list, only Rowan Vine jumps out as a quality player. Ebanks-Blake falls into the ok Championship player category IMHO.

I think i would take vine and buzsaky out of all those players. 1.5 mil for SEB ??? very average player, he only scores penalties.. or the rebounds

If you were at QPR at the moment and you saw all of these players coming in how would you feel? I don't think they will challenge this season, it all comes down to how much of a team spirit they can make over the summer for next season as they should have by then enough quality to see them become a serious contender.

According to an article I read, QPR's primary aim this season is avoiding relegation and consolidating in the Championship. It would make sense, looking at the second-rate talent they seem to be buying (compared to Premiership-type players). They will mount a promotion challenge next season.
