Already know of 3 Man Utd fans who have got tickets sorted(not yet purchased) for the Boxing day game. They have in turn said they know of many other United fans who are going to have no problems getting tickets.Whilst i understand it is going to be impossible for Stoke to stop them getting tickets i hope on the day they instruct stewards to refuse them entrance to the staduim if it is obvious they are United fans.By that i mean those wearing United tops trying to get in home areas, they may be there with the intention of only watching their team but it will incite Stokies around them.

It's common sense that anyone entering the home areas in a Utd top would be refused entry.
It is, however, unlikely that Utd fans sitting with the home supporters would turn up in a Utd top, even they're not that stupid are they?

well unless they are in the John Smiths Upper, i can't think of a part of the ground where they would actually be safe if they cheered if united score .
I suspected that when 3 and half sides of the ground start chanting "We only hate man united" just before kick off, and they see the venom from us to them, that any in the home ends will be sat on their hands for the rest of the game

Are they buying a Fulham ticket as well then? I think you may be mistaken.

None of our hundreds of fans in the United areas at Old Trafford on Saturday seem to have had any problems. Why should it be any different for United fans in our areas on Boxing Day? If they don't wear United gear (and they probably won't) then they'll be ok unless they are provocative . If they are provocative they'll be escorted out by the stewards, I should think.

But we never had the chance of celebrating a goal forny. If they score on boxing day it could turn very nasty.

There will be gloryhunters in home ends wearing United tops, read this board after the game and i will bet you there will be posts from Stokies saying they sat near a shirt wearing United fan.

Unless they are all buying Fulham tickets too, there won't be many in with us -and those that are will probably sit tight. I can't see it being a major issue.

I doubt they'd do much celebrating when surrounded by Stokies singing. I'm guessing there were a few Chelsea fans in with the home fans when they came to the Brit too, but they would have kept quiet.
I know I stayed pretty quiet when Darel Russel scored at the Stadium of Light.

it is precisley for this that the club[rightly in my opinion] introduced the multi-game policy. of course that wont stop a shit fan from spending £60+ but he might think twice esp if he runs the risk of being thrown out. shouldnt be too hard to spot them anyway there all fat thick bastards anyway

If the club were serious about eliminating fans from other clubs entering home stands purchasing histories would be checked when getting tickets. Multi buy is about MONEY. Full stop, the end, no further debate.

Its not all just about the money (although it helps) - its about being fair to supporters so people don't just turn up to the bigger games which I'm sure alot try to!

No No No this can't be true, away fans in the home end no, It's a multi buy game Mr scholes has come up with an intelligent, well thought out fool proof plan to eradicate this problem. Don't worry Tony has got his finger on the pulse

i am so sorry womble for not spelling and punctuating my mindless ramblings. thought i had left all that behind me when i left school in 1978 obviously i was wrong p.s. i refered to the shit fans being fat thick bastards on the basis of seeing them doing their shopping at asda proudly showing their shirts despite they have been to a match in their life sheik you have you opinion and you are entitled to it. i dissagree which is my choice. if this game was sold on a first come basis it would be sold out in hours leaving many stoke supporters who cant get to the ticket office at 9 on a monday morning high and dry.

It is being sold on a first come, first served basis ged, to those who can afford it and to any Man U fans who can afford it and are willing to take the Fulham game hit (and not go) or are local and confident of getting rid of a Fulham ticket at perhaps a small discount. This scheme does virtually nothing to discourage local gloryhunters from attending and that is because it is not designed for that purpose.
