"Penners" post "Favorite chants of the day" resulted in a reply from "History", who I assume is a stablehand.
"all your songs are basic and not clever. Pretty common if im honest.
Songs like
"We support our local team" "Your support is fucking shit"
Are old and tired now. Think of new chants no one sings. Bottom 7 and the championship all have the same songbook.
Having read previous posts from Stokies about improving , perhaps the lad has a point. I can't comment. I started supporting Stoke before Tony- not this one, but the other one ( Waddington) was in charge, but the ill health of my wife means I can no longer watch.
What I do know, is that if you do want to improve, you need to get serious, get an organisation and work out a plan.
Are you up for it. Look forward to some positive comments

'You've got your Chelsea tops on order' was pretty original and really riled them.

Not interested in quick comments. Think about what the lad said- "you're all the same" If you want to be different you need to be systematic

That History youth might be a fisherman but he's right, we've got a pretty piss-poor repertoire to be honest. The support is there; we are the loudest after all, but if we got some original songs and chants going we really would be a force to be reckoned with.
Trouble is, any songs or chants suggested on here will never be taken up because a lot of posters (bafflingly) don't like long songs and prefer to stick to one-line chants.
