AS MUCH AS STAYING UP. (IMHO)
I think we now know where we are in the premier league 'food chain' -and , its where I hoped/expected us to be.
Not too pretty, playing two banks of four most occasions and an awkward side to beat at home.
BUT limitations all to clear - critical lack of pace and creativity and a manager -three nil down at a big club, that went for damage limitation rather than, having a go.
(very disappointing to me personally)
It'll be a question now as to whether those waiting in the wings will be given a try out (after last Saturdays humiliation) or, whether he tries to put a bit of pace or, dare I even say it ? - flair, in the team.
Or whether he just leaves it as it is with, a midfield that tackles hard (when it can actually catch the opposition) but, offering minimal creativity in the opposing half - just the occasional burst of good passing football - precious sometimes but all too rare -even at home.
Without being too critical, its quite noticeable how -whilst Lawrence was available, he hardly tried two wide men -merely exchanging like for like and, the insistence in putting Cresswell on whilst, far more talented football players stay on the bench, wont wash for much longer (if at all ?).
(will it ?)
Point is this - we DO have a fairly decent squad already and I hope super tone uses it to its fullest extent BEFORE XMAS, so he will know exactly where he needs to strengthen based upon appearances in the premier league and not just training.
(I'm wondering what Tonge - Whelan and Soars must do /- be thinking as regards getting a game right now ? - I know - I would be)
But knowing precisely what we've got, Knowing all that, means we can then spend any further monies in January wisely - and ensure we stay up.
my thoughts just now.

I know things could of gone better but imo there is no humiliation in getting an ass kicking from Man U. Not like we are the 1st to lose like this agains a world class side is it? Forget Man U.....start looking forward to the more winnable games we have in front of us i say.

Playing through Brazil is a recipe for diaster IMO. We are extremely formidable side at the Brit and should not change a thing as we have won 3 on the bounce at home. Playing through them is trying to play them at their own game and wont work IMO.
Actually it doesnt really matter what way we play beacuse WE ALWAYS BEAT BRAZIL!!!!!!!!!!

Stick with the tried and tested against Brazil, it's worked for us so many times before, why change it, they havn't changed their style of play. They can't cope with the physical side of the game. Not saying it'd gonna be easy, but comeon, this is the boiing boiings FFS!!!
