Le Tissier said Sorenson was to blame for four of the goals.
First one yes and possibly the 3rd
carricks was hit inch perfect, stunning strike
welbecks goal was out for reach for any keeper and simply unstoppable.
berbatovs could have done better
ronaldos second was also inch perfect into the bottom corner, his view may have been a bit restricted.

The blame game for me is as follows 1st-Amdy Faye for a stupid foul-Sorro for woeful keeping 2nd-the 4 defenders that were around Carrick but forgot to block it 3rd-Shawcross-why did he just stand off him, left Sorro with no chance 4th-Shawcross shouldn't have dived in and then the midfield for not shutting Wellbeck down 5th-Shawcross for a stupid foul and then Sorro-anything on that side should've been saved All 5 goals were stinkers defensively imo.

2 Ronaldo free kicks, 2 goals, 2 that should have easily been saved !!!

Still, with Abd Faye though, our best summer signing.

It is a brand new ball... moves around more.. might have something to do with it? Maybe not?

Who cares? People make mistakes, plenty have been made this season. Sorensen had a shaky start but soon recovered. Stoke have been hammered numerous times in the past and recovered well. Wigan, Forest and palace all put 6 past us and we went in those seasons to do well! Actually wasn't it the Forest drubbing that pretty much helped us stay up in 2003? Just checked stats, in all those games we got hammered, we didn't lose the next game!

Has looked weak a few times & lucky not to let in Ronaldos other the free kick straight at him in the second half as well. He nearly ducked under that one. Carlo Nash would have been a much better signing. He seems to have been somehwere in between Sorensen strength in the air & Simonsens shot stopping.

Oh come on. Sorensen "bargain of the season", "what a signing he has been" etc. And now you are suggesting a 35 year old would have been better? After 1 dodgy game?

i personally don't think there is a goalkeeper alive who would have saved the first free-kick from Ronaldo, it was absolutely awesome. this criticism is a bit harsh imho

if you didnt see that ball swerve your blind. most keepers would have made the same mistake on the 1st goal. a ball goin near enough 70MPH which then swerves 2 metres from the goal is pretty hard to save ... all goals that on another day could have been avoided but.. thats the way the cookie crumbles folks
