theres a strong rumour going round that boxing day might not be going ahead yet as the scum are in that toss cup in japan and dont get back if they reach the final till 3 days before we play them. apparently its all agreed with the FA they dont have to play us.
any1 else heard about this?? ???

as the final is FIVE days before our game, and its general considered even Bangoura could get back from Japan in five days .

This rumour came up months ago and although the facts about the tournament etc are roughly correct the Fa have already said the game will go ahead.

I think it'd take a lot more than some scummy football club playing in another country to cancel Boxing Day. It's quite a large celebration in many parts of the world and I don't think that even Ferguson et al could get away with cancelling the whole day

Therefore, it's reasonable to expect that we won't have to play ManUre for another 8 months and that we will, in fact, be playing a 39th game next year against ManUre.
