Never having been the sharpest knife in the drawer it suddenly occured to me that whilst our home performances have been very exciting, competitive and full of goals our away form has been at best dull and dour. Whilst I appreciate that we have to play to our strengths and utilise what we have it would not make particularly good viewing for the neutral and as such I expect all of our Sky premier games to be when we are playing at the Brit. Please somebody prove me wrong

The only time would consider us for sky away would be when it looked an 'even' game to the neutral. Anyone at Stoke will find the going very tough but away from home we are not exactly setting the world alight! Most teams (and neutrals) would expect a home victory The only game(s) we probably think (expect) to win away is at WBA and maybe one or two other lower ranking teams but tbh I fully understand why sky prefer us being at home.

We get slaughtered enough by the press as it is. I'd rather not have our away games watched by the nation just yet thanks.

its all about the viewing figures, hence stoke at home to a big team will get viewing figures, stoke away will not get have the same draw for the armchair/gloryhunters that make up the vast majority of their subscribers

Our away games are best kept to ourselves, we would be a laughing stock.

I hope not, as it would mean a change in kick-off time. For example getting to London or the likes of Sunderland on a Monday night if on Setanta would be a nightmare!
