WBA must be rubbing their hands together, apart from the threats from the throw in (and we have to get in their half first) they have pretty much nothing to fear, our record non scoring striker Kitson or Mama so deep he could hold a (several) conversation with Ryan. Cresswell totally out of his league and Vincent well he’s just Vincent need I say more. Add this to the fact that Pulis refuses to play any sort of attacking midfield and already I’m beginning to fear the worst

We need to play Whelan and Soares against WBA, they look really vulnerable and the only way Kits will get a sniff is with through balls from Whelan or crosses from Soares (a-la vs. Spurs).

Ever the optimist ;D
Wasn't the last time WBA beat us at home over 25 years ago? Soon to be one season more, they look pretty woeful this season!

I have to say I don't see Saturday as a guaranteed 3 points by any means, with or without Fuller. But Brazil's form is very poor at the moment, they've only scored 3 in 6 and have conceded 17. Now granted, 3 of those 6 games were against Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea, but even so their confidence will be low and our home form is excellent.

what worries me is now fuller wont be playing if somthing happens to kits or mama pericard could grace the pitch in the prem. Its time for kitson to step up and show his worth.

scfc75, don't you start! I heard Tony Mowbray's interview, last night ,and he said that it (league position) was a bit unfair, as WBA had played most of the top teams. Funny that. I've seen every match to date and could swear that we've played Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Villa. I'm teetotal, but it must be those wine gums again.

I am worried about this one but not because we are inferior to the mighty Brazilians in any way.
I am more worried because we are Stoke. We have had the voodoo signs over the Baggies for so long that I know, just know, that when we need to beat them more than ever, they are likely to get the better of us.
This is Stoke and we are the football leagues only registered charity!

At home i think we'll beat them. They've not got much width apart from Brunt (who can whip in a very decent cross though) but are we worried about crosses into the box? I'm not. Miller is sharp but 'generally' can't hit a barn door and Bednar is the sort of striker i'd expect Faye and Shawcross to deal with 8 times out of 10. Greening would normally be my biggest concern but he's not having the best season. Haven't seen much of Valero(?) but at 5 mill i suppose we'll have to keep a close eye on him. It's leaves me with the 'strange' prediction that West Brom may cause us the most problems from direct free kicks or corners. They've also bought some big 'units' at the back and with the right delivery anything can then happen. So for me, kick Valero early, don't give away any silly free kicks just outside the box, watch out for Zuiverloon charging forward and it should be no worse than a draw with hopefully a Kitson brace. I work in an office of 4 with two Baggies .... please please god let it be true Note : the 4th is a Shit fan .... but then you probably guessed that

I think all in all we are better equipped than West Brom? If Delap is the only remaing threat then thats one more tham they have imo. But hopefully, Soares will be brought in for this...I can understand why Faye was brought in against Arsenal, Wigan and Utd, however this is one we should be expecting to win. So Saores to start, and fingers crossed Kitson takes his chance!!!

without fuller and playing a bottom of the table side at home, its surely time to play Kitson, Whelan and Soares in the starting line up together, we need balance in the team

i have real concern about saturday.. with our inability to get players further up the pitch....
we'll be mostly relying on the long throws unfortunately...
