Why on earth was Cresswell bought on he has to be the most one dimensional player in the premiership, no pace no creativity not a very good tackler and even as a striker is well out of his depth. Tonge and Soares must be wondering what they have to do to get a game even Pugh would be more effective.
Amdy Faye what’s the point of him one of the poorest midfielders to wear a Stoke shirt in the last 3 seasons IMO.
Mamma so deep and isolated he’ll neither score nor create anything and by playing him so deep isolates and almost makes Fuller a spectator, he had probably his poorest game of the season yesterday.
Rory and Sorro both had poor games even Rory’s throw was ineffective which reduces our attacking threat by at least 90% in away games.
On the plus side Salif had a decent game (I’m not his biggest fan though) Griff coped pretty well and Ryan was our MOM and we didn’t/couldn’t/wouldn’t hoof it quite so much.
Very poor tactics and listening to Pulis it sounded as if he had almost resigned himself to defeat before a ball was kicked, I didn’t see any of the fight passion and willingness to get in the Manure faces as we did against Arsenal, paid them far too much respect.
