I hope the conversation went like this
Fergie: Young Danny's goal was unstoppable Tone, don't you think .
TP: Aye it was Alex, he's a good young lad, but how will you be able to give him games with Carlos wanting games .
Fergie: I may have to send him out on loan , who do you think I should ring up and ask if they'll play him Tone .
TP: Alex, let me have a word with Peter, and we'll see if we can do a deal for him, he has all the attributes I look for in a player, and pace as well.
Fergie: well if you'll play him tone, he's yours in january as we'll have played you twice by then .

Doubt he'll send him on loan. He'll start to be phased into the first team set up.

I think theres a rule about only 1 long term loan from a premiership club to another premiership club, so even if united were willing, we couldn't loan tevez & berbatov or any other combination, just one lol.
