It's of little consequence this squad. Fabcap said yonks ago that this game was a chance to play youngsters and experiment a bit.
He didn'd however mention how much a hamper is at Tesco! ;D

He still has something to offer. He'll be involved in the future. He's rightly using this as a chance to experiment and give some youngsters some experience of being in the squad.

How long since the US season ended? Beckham won't have played a game since - no way would he be close to being match fit. Capello, rightly, is using the opportunity to have a look at a few fringe players. Whether Beckham gets back into the side in the spring will be determined by how much time he gets on the pitch and how well he plays, in Italy.
