Four of us sat in the East stand with the Manure 'fans'. Ten minutes before the match began, we were stood chatting and eating pies (well, one each anyway). The guy behind us asked us to sit down! We pointed out that the match hadn't yet begun, although there was a pretty decent looking sprinkler on the pitch... Same bloke (along with about 40,000 others) left 10 minutes before the end of the match despite his team heading towards a good victory. - These people are not real fans and apart from 3000 / 4000 Stokies in the corner, the atmosphere was stale! On that subject, I thought the Singing was great from the travelling fans. (Stokies, that is... but I guess we travelled considerably less distance than alot of the 'home' fans).
