I dont hate Pulis, but he frustrates the fuck out me (and plenty of others) with his tactics sometimes

If we were still at 0-0 then maybe i could just about understand it as Cresswell will offer more in defence. But when we're already behind it seemed a bit of 'trying to keep it respectable'. That being said i predicted 3-0 so no big deal. I'll reserve my shouting for when we go to places like Fulham, West Ham & Newcastle. If we play so deep against those trying to hang on by our teeth and scrape a draw or a lucky win then it will be the time for dramatics. Until then ... no big deal and bring on the BIG BIG games over the next few weeks. |

hey look, im not saying Tony hasnt worked wonders because he has, and im the first to thank him but one of his excuses for defeat last season was that other teams had more money, better players etc etc
However we have 3 players who cost a combined 9 million quid (!) who arent getting a full game/any game. Thats just ridiculous, especially as Cresswell is a striker, a good championship striker admittedly but still a striker who is being deployed on the left wing of a Premier League team. What was the point of paying out all this dosh for them to be left on the bench or not even get there. Tony has done brilliantly but he needs to use the assets he has instead of ignoring them and sticking with what he knows.
Stop being stubborn TP, drop Cressie! Time for several pints methinks, have a good night all

all you fucking pulis rimmers go and fuck yourselves! that decision today was pathetic, why the fuck bring cresswell on?? yes he has done a great job and nobody is knocking him for that, he as took us 12th in the league and quarter finals of the mickey mouse cup but but to bring a player on today who is totally out of his league was quite astonashing! we gifted united that game.
we have got whelan, soares. tongue all waiting for their opportunity so why bring on cresswell??? please explain pulis! that was wank!

United will get into double figures this season against someone – they are the best team in the world at the moment.. Had we played Soares & Tonge it could of been us they got into double figures against.. As for playing Creswell; no one covers more ground, and he deserves his place.. Sometimes you just have to accept that you were beaten by the better team.
Keep the faith, this team will bounce back and on our day we can beat anyone.

Blackpool - I love TP and agree with much of what you say except-
Cresswell should never play for Stoke again and needs shipping out (with our thanks) in January if we are remotely serious about staying in the Prem

As I see the game, they scored some great goals that in most games would have missed the goal. We were awful, but conceding after 3 minutes in both halves and on the last minute of first half was suicidal. You can not go to Old Trafford and give away goals like Stoke did today.

Once it was clear we weren't going to repeat Anfield and keep a clean sheet or even keep it to 1-0, imho it was pig-headed and daft not to take a chance on being creative.

Stokey I know what your saying but Bolton ... we had half a team and Man City we didn't camp in our own half. Wigan 1st half was OK, 2nd half i agree we were very poor. Like how you only quoted 1 sentence out of the whole paragraph which showed it slightly out of perspective ... very effective that  What my point was is that if we were behind to Fulham, West Ham or Newcastle and we had an injury then i'd be disgusted if Cresswell came on before Tonge or Soares ... against Man U, disappointed but not disgusted. Keep it tight for the rest of the game then go a bit more gung ho in the last 10 minutes or so and try and nick a draw? There's an argument for that if you're willing to look at it. |
