Would be very interesting. I'm sure he played on the left with Bolton. For the next 6 months he could well add much needed balance to the left. I actually feel Megson will hold onto him til the summer, he's scores vital goals and runs and runs all day long! But would not want to pay a massive fee for him. Loan would be ideal. Stelios and a striker and va va vooooom!

But what a bloody ace name to have on the back of a replica shirt! You need mini letters to fit that on! All FIFTEEN of em!!
But - he was plain old Stelios at Bolton...

I think its only matter of time when Bolton sell Anelka and will have plenty money spend so Stelios will be down the pecking order even more ... Only watched him Sunday on MTV cribs aswell

And last time we got a bald left midfielder with a long foreign name in the middle of the season we went up. I am so senile I've forgotten his name though It was Icelandic. In fact it was Gunlaugsson now I've looked it up ;D

I've always been a firm believer in the "More baldies=Success" rule.
In fact, I think it was me that thought it up when some mates and I watched a majority of Chelsea slapheads beat a fairly hairy Boro in the '98 League Cup final.
The logic is clear to see.

Nah, I think the better players have more hair, it provides more grip for headers where the ball might just slide off a smoth, frictionless bonce.

Was Rooster left or right side? Anyway he played all year as I recall, but it still works for me.
Then there was Sir Stan when we went up in 63(?) and Paul Richardson was thin on top, as was Kendall!
Cue list of bald wingers from seasons we weren't promoted ;D

ANDY HAR WROTE:
Stelios the midfielder career - 102 goals
Can't score?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
As opposed to Periwinkle the striker career - 23 goals
Now that's a player that can't fucking score Andy.

Would be a top, top signing. I didn't realise he was nearly 34 but he would still give us something we haven't got, a midfielder making late runs into the box and scoring goals from the centre of the park (I would guess he'd play there) At 750k he would be a snip even at his age, his quality is without question. Go get him TP ;D

Is he bald, or does he shave his head?
Not that I expect that anyone knows the answer!

But Pulis dismissed national newspaper reports linking him with a move for Bolton's former Greek international winger Stelios Giannakopoulos
Sentivale
No go there then!
