I got to admit, when it comes to an interview, TP speaks total sense and it makes me proud that we have him in control of our team. One thing I have noticed though is his fondness to keep looking to either side of the camera and not look directly at the camera itself? now question is, do we train next to the American ladies beach volleyball team and that is what is indeed taking his focus? Anyone else noticed it? What you seen over there TONE?? uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Tk20UnjwnFA

Yes, I've noticed it pretty well since he first came to the club. He's obviously had a media course this summer which has improved his interviews by about 100% but it has not eradicated the reluctance to "look the camera in the eye."

When he was having a conversation (row) with that numpty journalist on sky yesterday I think his body language was basically saying 'feck off you dull retard you haven't got a bloody clue what you're on about' or was it just me that read it that way?
I have to say Pulis battered him in the interview

You're never supposed to look the camera in the eye unless you're addressing the audience at home.
You're supposed to look at the interviewer as though there's a conversation going on and the camera is to one side.
TP's trouble is he doesn't seem to like looking the interviewer in the eye.

TP's image and that of Stoke City Football Club is growing with every passing day.
People are genuinely interested in SCFC and love it that, aaarrddd work, organisation, determination and togetherness have beaten an Arsenal side so lauded by many for its elitist and pursit brand of total football. We have well and truely and upsett the Croissant cart my friends. Long may it continue.
However on a note of caution .......there must be a disaster just around the corner or it wouldn't be STOKE would it ??

Very few players can manage to look at the interviewer for any length of time. Rooney and Ferdinand are classics, they always look away as if there's something going on on the pitch.
There must be a psychoanalyst on here to interpret.
