::)LOSE Wigan v Stoke (1245 GMT) Wigan v Stoke Stoke have really struggled away from home and Wigan bounced back from some poor results by beating Portsmouth in the monsoon last week. Wigan have got good midfielders and forwards and a decent keeper, but there are big questions about their defence. They should still sneak this one though. Arsenal-Manchester United might not be a classic but this is definitely one for the undercard. Verdict: 2-1

But he did predict for us to stay up out of the three promoted so chill out. It's not like our away record is exactly brilliant, and I bet we shagged plenty of footy coupons on Satdee.

Mark Lawrensons way of thinking...
if my mate flicks a coin 10 times and i pick tales 10 times, its going to come down on tails at least 5 times.
What a prize prick he really is.

Ah, but he also says this:
Arsenal v Man Utd (1245 GMT)
I was very surprised by Arsene Wenger's comments after the loss at Stoke and I think he is trying to take the pressure off his side.
I just thought Stoke were the better team and wanted it more, but Wenger's actions will have created a kind of siege mentality in the Arsenal dressing room. The problem is they are missing a few players.

Let's not get carried away with the win vs Arsenal.
Our away form has been terrible! Wigan are a half decent side, with a couple of very capable forwards.
Saying that, this game is one of probably 4 that we have a really good chance of picking the 3 points away from home.
I think we will draw, and I would bite your arm off for a point, we don't need to go chasing wins until the end of the month (thoughts turn to double header Vs Albion and Hull), thanks to our win over the Gunners.

yes the paranoia is a bit sad.
Lawrenson has predicted a narrow home win,big deal.
most punters would predict that yes we can win this game but Wigan are decent enough. their defence is a bit ropey so we should score
2.2 for me.

Unfortunately there are far too many precious badge kissers on here that can't see past their own noses and take everything personally. I remember when Lawro and Dixon predicted we would stay up and everyone on here said what a top bloke him and Dixon were. Now Lawro is a prick for suggesting we may lose some games and Dixon is a twat because the other day he was suggesting ways to counter Delap's long throws! So fucking what it's their jobs. Phil Brown got a summers worth of bile on this board , but now he has spoken out against Wenger alot of people now seem to be saying he is a decent bloke. Get over yourselves , it's pathetic, and quite frankly fucking embarrassing. In fact I'd rather be the underdog. Especially after all the posts this week about Wenger moaning about how his side is victimised, lets not go down the same way as that whingeing cunter hey?

this is a game that I feel we must get points from. It would have been one of tp's target away games, that's for sure. As for Lawro, nothing overly wrong with his viewpoint, Wigan are good going forward but are frail at the back, it's a near certainty that wigan will score in the match, so it's just down to how many times we can get at them and work on their frailty in defence. Rory's long throws will really be handy here as I really don't think bramble will have a clue. Me i think 1-1 is likely, but this game really could go either way.

A point would top off a great week for us. I'm not bothered what Lawro says to be honest but it does seem strange (as has been mentioned) that he tips us to stay up but also predicts us to lose every week??

I think Lawrenson's prediction is fair. I don't see the problem whatsoever.
Wigan are a very good side. If we don't play to our maximum, we'll lose. And, if we do, and they play at their best, they'll probably beat us. They've got some very good players.
However, we've got a chance and let's hope it's our day.

To be fair I will be delighted with anything tomorrow points wise.
Wigan are a good side and will cause us a lot of problems- despite having Titus Bramble they do have some real pace and power in their side that I think we may struggle to deal with.
Our away form isn't good enough and don't think we'll handle them, 3-1 to Wigan sadly for me.
