This Arsenal team that went over the top and ended up getting into trouble with the FA must be a different one to that currently managed by Arsene Wenger! And they certaionly can't be the same Arsenal team who were DOCKED POINTS by the FA some years ago!!! And maybe this quote is about a different Arsenal? Nothing, however, will perhaps ever compare with the slapstick that followed United's 2-0 home win in October 2004 when, after seeing their unbeaten run ended after 49 games, Wenger's players splattered Ferguson with pizza left for them in the visitors' dressing room."That match was terrible," reflected Pires. "It was one of the worst in my career, one of the hardest ones I have ever lived through."I'm guessing this must be a different Arsenal too? ARSENAL WERE left with just two senior defenders free from the imminent probability of suspension after an unprecedented six team members were charged by the Football Association yesterday. Finally, I suppose this quote from 2003, concerning Arsene Wenger's first seven years in charge at Arsenal must be incorrect in some way? Arsenal pick up a spate of red cards, bemoan the way they are being treated by the powers that be, time any appeal to best suit their playing needs, and then go on to win yet another trophy. Sound familiar? That is because ill-discipline, as much as success, has become synonymous with the men from Highbury.

Arsenal's disciplinary record during Arsène Wenger's seven-year reign does not make pretty reading. The players know it, the Football Association's video panel know it and, most tellingly, the manager knows it, too. Which begs the question: why does the problem persist?

Wenger is now 3 games without a win and 3 seasons without a trophy!
Not good for a "big 4" club. Wonder if the pressure is getting to the urbane Frenchman!?

F365'S Mediawatch has some interesting match reports from the Arsenal - Fenerbahce game last night.
"Anyway, apropos of not much, here are a few random extracts from the match reports of last night's 0-0 draw with Fenerbahce:
'At least the 17-year-old Ramsey got stuck in, planting his studs in the legs of Fenerbahce central defender Edu' - The Daily Mail.
'Wenger's moans about Arsenal always playing by the rules while others break them looked a bit rich when centre-back Johan Djourou went in studs up on Semih Senturk and was booked' - The Sun.
'Denilson caught Semih Senturk with a hard challenge, collecting possession fairly but leaving Fenerbahce's captain rolling on the floor' - The Daily Telegraph.
'Johan Djourou was lucky to escape with only a yellow card for a needless lunge on Sahin' - The Daily Mirror."
