Good stuff. I'm in a quandary whether to go in the corporate or go in the stands. I have the option of both.
Nice choice to have I suppose.

Maybe you just missed the general year on year improvement of the club as you were too busy moaning your fucking arse off with the rest of them? I must have fell asleep during another 0-0 home draw to Rotherham and only woke up on Sunday to find Pulis had turned into the greatest thing since sliced bread. Or alternatively, the bloke's improved us year on year with the exception of one shit season, yet when things are going well it still sticks in some people's throats because of who the manager is.

Not really, I'm as chuffed as anyone how well the club is doing. I just don't buy in to the Pulis is the messiah idea. He's doing well at the moment and long may it continue. You rimmers are so precious.

I was thinking to myself remember 2 years ago when he was shite at interviews, the old 'quality in the final third' and 'blown out of the water' interviews we seem to get solidly for a season. What the freaking hell's happened Tone? Been hanging out with the dark lord himself Alistair Campbell?

Yet for the most part this outpouring of hatred that people seem to have for him is totally out of proportion with the fact that he's only really had one bad season at the club. To have a nine page thread like the "surreal experience one" after a defeat away to a bigger club is ridiculous.

The reality is that he lies somewhere in between - not as bad as the PHW think he is and not as good as the Rimmers would have us believe. Still, it's good to wind each other up now and again.

Re the Wales job, he said he still has no interest at the moment as he considers himself too young yet to go without the day to day involvement that he thrives on. If his stock was still high in say 5 years time or more then who knows.

Jamie is right. Iwelumo has never played at Premier League level. Henry is not crap- he just wasn't given a proper chance at Stoke. For some reason Brammer was considered a better option! Knowlesy are you sure????? Karl played 120 games for us and whilst he was relatively tidy I didnt see him improve considerably to warrant higher level football. I know he played in fits and starts but thats over 3 seasons worth of games. Surely he should have taken his chance.

Henry was fucking wank when he played for us. Of that there is no doubt. None whatsoever.
Given the negative way he played it was no wonder he didn't fall asleep himself.

Yeah, but can you commute to Newcastle from the South Coast?

Swampy- I know he made over a century of appearances for us but a majority of those were from the bench (I'll probably be proven wrong ;D). He never got an extended run of 10 games in the starting line up so never got settled into his role. Brammer was brought in and then Junior was added to the ranks meaning Karl was always second or third choice. I could see he had potential but was never going to get a proper chance with us. He made a very wise career move by going to Wolves. By the way Pugsley, we've never drawn 0-0 at home to Rotherham under Pulis

I think he knows when he's well off, also he's conservative by nature, also he knows how important a good relationship with a Chairman is and would only have to look at the succession of crazies at Newcastle... I'm a big rimmer but I've never said he walks on water, I just totally admire his persistency, genius at getting the best out of players others have written off, and his general balls. He drives me mad every third or fourth week on average though and long may it continue, I wouldn't be a Stoke fan otherwise.

I am enjoying it. Whatever makes you think otherwise, you daft, fat sod. Mr Ugly bugger... You need to lighten up and not take 'us' too literally. That thread was a long one because most were enjoying it and knew what was going on. Typical Oatcake board banter which used to make it the best nogger board on the net. Something and some people seem to have got lost in the ethernet of late. I found a few of them which was the real reason for it. You should listen in to me and mcf, TFB, when we meet up. That would make your hair stand on end. OS.

Lets just wait until the end of the season before we erect the statue - Fornside can make it out of all the jizzy tissues in his shrine-room.
Just imagine if your dream of him managing Wales comes true (what a feather in the cap that would be eh?) you will be able to compare submission techniques with all the other sheep-shaggers on your pilgrimage.

I'm with you OS Sitting on the fence is for the cowards - just like SuperTone's players and not Arsene's heroes. Nice to see a return of some of the PHWers under what must be very trying circumstances for them.
